Could anyone tell me more about different pure/hybrid builds which is effective both in PvM and PVP available in runescape now? I plan to work towards that goal by grinding and questing. When you see that level 40 in barrows with a DFS and a steel titan.. that gets respect. just a regular DFS pure at sub 50 combat is pretty fun. That's the only type of pure i'd ever think about making, though i'd never make a pure anyway. Think about how much soul wars you're willing to do, or if the time spent making a pure will be "so much fun" it's worth it.

I doubt I would go with a summoning pure at the moment - no cash to do one and to not have combat skills would be a *pain*. Rune pures are really appealing to me although I heard that is hard work. More please :)
May 11, 201016 yr 1 defense hybrids. train ranged/magic and keep 1 def/sum and 1-44 prayer. its been around for ages but still a fun build. i have a few friends that were quite successful as nearly-maxed hybrids with 99 range & magic and high constitution. May 12, 201016 yr Time to go on a epic zerker pure supporting rant :D Not really. Anyway, i actually would recommend just training a main. Unless you're making a pure for the same reason i made mine: Out of boredom and wanting to experiment... First off, zerkers are pretty good all around. They're what just steps over the line into high str bonuses. Max str bonus that Zerkers can get(Excluding corrupt ancient equipment) is +43 without a weapon or shield. Opposed to the +32 of prossy pures(30 def, the pure right under the zerker). Plus they can utilize dragonhide bodies, void knight armor, the vengeance spell, and even turmoil at high levels. I personally support zerkers myself. As i have one myself, and am pretty proud of it. Next up would be the Barrows tank. With 70 or 75 def(depends if you want to use a dfs). Pretty good, not much more of a str bonus over the zerker pure, but their barrows equipment gives them a great advantage in a lot of safe PvP minigames(Or high risking in bounty hunter). Plus they can use bandos too. Which is a nice convenience. All in all, training a main would be the best in the long run. But i need to learn to follow my own advice =P Hexiled Razz. Well as i posted before, I'd suggest the rune pure. Though a range tank comes in very close 2nd. Because they basically have the same abilities as a rune/zerker pure. May 12, 201016 yr I really prefer barrows pures. They have ability to do some boss hunt and wear good armors. And they can be considered as mains too. Personally going for 90/95/70 atm. ( 95 in f2p first and then 90 att in mem whit whip via slayer)
May 12, 201016 yr Pures nowadays are only good for F2P Dungeoneering. I respect a 138 more than a cookie-cutter hybrid any day. If you're set on a pure, an obby tank (1-99-40/70/75 ) seems very viable though, if you're looking into a member's pure.

Hence Its either with a range tank/ rune pure. Thanks though
