November 24, 200520 yr Mine personally was Harry Potter and the GOF.. I know some of you dont like it but hey, everyone has different tastes. The best scene in the movie was probably when Harry and Lord Voldemort met face to face and had their wands pointed at each other blue and red magic flames came out.. Harry's parents and all came alive for a moment.. it was magical ;) (little bit cause of Cho Chang being in the movie too lol) Share your movie of the year.. the movie that you would reckon every friend to watch :) Movies coming out soon in my area -Chicken Little (NOW SHOWING) -Aeon Flux (NOW SHOWING) -Wallace and Grim? (spelling) -Chronicles of Narnia -Saw II `db
November 24, 200520 yr Music and Movies I don't have a movie of the year yet. Still got 4 movies to watch :( But I'm backing Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire to take it :P
November 24, 200520 yr Author Ahh.. my mistake i didnt know there was a board dedicated to videos.. Ack sorry.. anyways HPGOF is still the best huh?.. im looking forward to Chicken Little  `db
November 24, 200520 yr Probably, although I have hopes for the new version of The Chronicles of Narnia.
November 24, 200520 yr Probably, although I have hopes for the new version of The Chronicles of Narnia. I still need to see both of them. Was going to see HP this friday but tickets were sold out when I tried booking some :(. Not for all shows, but I was going to go with my friend (late bday present), and he couldn't go. Sooo... some other time, I guess :) So before that, no favourite movies from me. Though I still want to see Elizabethtown as well, the soundtrack is pretty damn good at any rate. :)
November 24, 200520 yr Author Never heard of Elizabethtown :x There's a few thats worth a watch IMO although they're not out yet. King Kong, Chicken Little and the Chronicles Of Narnia. I've read the book of Narnia.. it's pretty cool. About some guy who has an uncle in his house whos kinda crazy and has pixie blood i think.. he has 2 rings that can transport people into another dimension with 1 touch and stuff.. they discover the beautiful and poweful witch blah blah and find out the boy is Adam (first man?) met Aslan the lion etc.. Definately a must for me.. Since im like below 20 YO, Chicken Little appeals to me  `db
November 24, 200520 yr GoF was quite good (except for all of the parts that they cut out :( ) but chronicles of narnia looks good too.
November 24, 200520 yr best one that came out this year imo was Constantine. Best one i watched was Animatrix, however :)
November 24, 200520 yr Serenity. great film based an a great series axed before its time. Best Barrows Chest: guth skirt, dh helm, dh axe, racks, gp (23/08/06); best tt reward: robin, guthix helm, guthix legs, nats, rune legs
November 24, 200520 yr Best one I've seen was at the Film by the Sea festival last september. Shooting Dogs. The arthouse version of Hotel Rwanda. So amazingly powerful, unfortunuatly not very well known (yet). Broken Flowers was a great one aswell. Gus van Sant's Last Days was after giving it some thought amazingly good as well. Manderlay was very good aswell. Of course Sin City was top-notch aswell. And there's tons more which I am not going to mention. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
November 24, 200520 yr for me it was either Constantine, Unleashed (Jet Li), or Corpse Bride -Destroy Topham-
November 24, 200520 yr Author Saw 2  ^Oh yeah, another must watch for me. 8) I personally found constantine pretty boring.. probably due to my age, dont quite get the story.. :? `db
November 24, 200520 yr flight plan, i loved it "Ive always tried to kill the greatest man alive, but then I finally realize that suicide is not the answer" QsBillabong
November 25, 200520 yr I would say... 1. Crash 2. Sin City 3. Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith So Crash is the best, only slightly edging out Sin City IMO. I'm looking forward to: Munich, Walk the Line (already out, I know) and Syriana (looks amazing!)
November 25, 200520 yr True, Sin City is brilliant. That'll be in the top 3 for sure. Just gotta see where though :(
November 25, 200520 yr going to have to go with episode 3. travelled over an hour to go to the best movie theatre around, got there 3 hours early and was in the middle-back of the line for the midnight premiere, it was just awesome. the expierience made the movie for me. plus ive been waiting for it to be complete for years :D . in a heads up match, where i just straight compared movie to movie, sin city would probably be my favorite.
November 25, 200520 yr Dressing up goth and going to corpse bride opening night 8) (Eather the best experiance of my life or the worst i donno) I will have to say corpse bride becauuuuseee there's piano in it and my friend who liked the movie sent me the music to it so i learned Victor's (the emo protagonist's) songs. SO yahhh i was at this non-sweet x10000 party  and i was one of the only guys there and all the girls there were ugly emo girls like litterally. and then they brought out a bottle to play spin the bottle so i was likeee screw that and went upstairs with my friend and like started to play the piano. And I played corpse bride and alll the girls there came up and listened and were really impressed :? and yeppp and i was a stud for the night because they had all seen Corpse bride and were in love with that movie and all in love with me haha :x. (another one of thoes experiances where it was eather the best experiance of my life or the worst) The rest of the night was awekward. :
November 25, 200520 yr haven't seen many new movies this year  I did enjoy Tom Cruise's "War of the Worlds" tho.. - Only character in Runescape History maxed out in RSC and RS2
November 25, 200520 yr Author I didnt manage to watch Corpse Bride.. is it worth a watch? I'll wait for the DVD if so.. :) `db
November 25, 200520 yr Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children After thinking about it for awhile (and since I'm not a Harry Potter fan), I decided that this is my movie of the year. I loved it.

November 25, 200520 yr haven't seen many new movies this year  I did enjoy Tom Cruise's "War of the Worlds" tho.. Booo!!! Tom Cruise is an idiot!!! anyway... For me I'd have to say.....Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...rather funny and it makes fun of everyone. Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

It was the only competition my movie of the year had. :)
