Elemental Workshop 3 - Puzzle Guide Simplified

Okay well I for one cannot figure out this puzzle for the life of me, but for those of you who have completed it if you want to help others complete it I think I've come up with an easy solution to help people out. What you do is assign each lever a number and write down in what sequence you pull them to complete the puzzle and just tell people the sequences after your done.

Just thought this might be a pretty simple solution for those who need help or for those who want to help others with it but aren't sure how.

Here's a picture of my puzzle #1 with numbers assigned, I haven't completed it yet since I'm dumb as a troll if you want a starting point.

Should be Help & Advice imo...

I think the main problem here is that anyone who has already completed it, won't want to reset and start from the beginning for this map, you're going to have to find someone who hasn't even started it.

Also, there is no "main" lever, it follows the same rules as all the other ones.

Schmuall.png

give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever

Try numbering it as "4". It would fit the pattern best.

50% of the numbers r pointless.

Levers opposite each other do the EXACT same thing in any given situation.

Eg in ur pic 11 and 21 wuld both slide the whole row with the gap in.

Also since its of the same ilk, I feel this which I posted in the main thread would help here:

For thoose who want a "logical" way to leave this puzzle for efficient bar making in the future I realised this setup:

puzzlek.jpg

In A (theres a short blokc hidden behind centre pillar):

Pull Green, Blue, Green, Red to drop the centre and charge it (this produces B )

In B:

Pull Yellow, Blue to raise the centre (and produce A)

This also works if the bottom left corner block is on the right hand side, you just move the blue lever to the other side as well

I doubt anyone could get the number sequence for that, best way to get it is write the numbers down as you go along.

Okay found out something new thanks to some clan mates and it seems to be working well, were using a different number system this is how it works.

On the South and North sides, going from bottom to top (East to West) are 6 Levers. Then on the West and East sides, going from left to right (South to North) are 7 Levers Counting the one at the East as Lever #4).

The Combination's for Puzzles 2 & 3 are as followed, we didn't get number 1 as we all already had it completed.

Puzzle #2

e2 s4 e5 n5 w6 n6 w5 n5 w6 n1 e2 s2 e3 s4 w5 n5 w3 s4 w6 n1 e2 s4 w6 n1 e2 s4 w6 n1 e5 n3 e6 n1 e4 n2 e5 n1 e4 n2

Puzzle #3

e2 s4 w3 s5 w2 s6 w3 s2 e2 s3 e3 s1 e2 s5 w3 s1 e2 s4 w3 s2 e5 n1 e2 s3 e3 s1 e2 s2 (Counter gets stuck at 62)

Mistake with solution to puzzle #2, the last e4 and e5 should be switched (At least that's how it turned out for me).

I love how you are still being pointlessly excessive with numbers, also Ring Worlds solutions have flaws. atleast 3 of them do not result in a solved puzzle

As I stated before: Lever opposite each other have the EXACT same effect at any given time.

So the east and west sides and north and south sides do not need individual identities.

puzzle2.jpg

I had a few pms with confusion so to be clear purple is the darker blob, pink is the lighter blob.

It is not a mistake that red and pink do not feature in any solutions, that's just how things work out.

In some solutions it may seem like a pointlessly excessive line move is being made or a block is moving in the wrong direction, do not worry, to make the solutions works sometimes you have to navigate the blank tile around a random route to avoid messing other tiles up and sometimes u have to build small lines of tiles before u move them.

Puzzle 1 (Lowering Right Corner)

C, Blue, B, Purple, C, Blue, E, Purple, C, Blue, E, Orange, F, Blue, E, Green, F, Blue, E, Purple, F, Yellow, C, Orange, F, Yellow, C, Orange, F, Yellow, D, Orange, F, Yellow, E, Blue, F, Orange, E, Blue, F, Yellow, Reset.

solution1j.jpg

Puzzle 2 (The Right Hand Counter, 50 extra moves):

Blue, A, Purple, F, Blue, A, Purple, F, Blue, B, Purple, F, Blue, C, Purple, F, Blue, D, Purple, F, Blue, E, Purple, F, Blue, E, Yellow, F, Green, E, Reset.

solution2l.jpg

Puzzle 3 (Lowering Left Corner):

A, Blue, B, Purple, C, Blue, A, Purple, E, Orange, B, Blue, E, Orange, B, Blue, E, Orange, B, Blue, E, Orange, B, Yellow, C, Orange, F, Yellow, B, Blue, E, Yellow, B, Blue, F, Orange, B, Purple, E, Blue, D, Purple, F, Green, E, Purple, F, Green, E, Blue, Reset.

solution3.jpg

Puzzle 4 (Left Hand Counter, Infinite moves):

Orange, A, Yellow, F, Orange, B, Yellow, F, Orange, C, Yellow, F, Orange, D, Yellow, F, Orange, E, Blue, B, Yellow, E, Purple, F, Yellow, E, Blue, F, Yellow, E, Green, F, Yellow, E, Reset.

solution4.jpg

Puzzle 5 (Lowering the Middle):

B, Orange, A, Yellow, B, Orange, F, Purple, B, Orange, D, Yellow, E, Blue, D, Purple, F, Green, E, Purple, C, Blue, E, Purple, D, Blue, E, Purple, F, Yellow, E, Purple, F, Green, E, Blue, DO NOT RESET.

It has been brought to my attention that some people (like 3/15 who I heard from atm) at this point end up being told the machine is unpowered and cannot move. This appears to be a bug, as you should have infinite moves. To work around this pull the reset lever and start puzzle 5 from the beginning but add in green, blue before moving on to making it spin and it should work fine.

solution5.jpg

Puzzle 5 cont. (Making it Spin):

C, Green, B, Purple, E, Green, F, Purple, A, Blue, E, Purple, B, Orange, F, Purple, B, Orange, F, Purple, C, Blue, E, Purple, F, Green, E, Blue, B, DO NOT RESET.

solution6.jpg

Puzzle 5 cont. (Raising the Middle):

Green, C, Blue, DO NOT RESET.

solution7.jpg

The Puzzle is now finished and set-up for quick bar making, as along as you do not reset.

How to lower, recharge and raise centre again:

Green, Blue, Green, B, C, Blue.

You've got to now move the 3 tier cog back to the top centre piece, the one that brought the mechanism down. It'll then make the fully charged mechanism go back up, that'll also mean you have to move the 1 tier cog back as well to keep the 3 tier one moving. You only need to go back a couple of steps.

The levers are paired so where from example you guys have 5 and 15, they are opposites ends of same column (purple) and thus do the same thing.

A letters-numbers grid is much more intuitive than introducing a color scale, IMO (like was once on Runescape Wikia before someone replaced it with all those broken "solutions").

I had a picture with some coloured dots on from earlier and saw this thread contained incorrect solutions coupled with solutions using excessively complex numbering.

I just posted my solutions, while fixing some mistakes from transcribing my notes and for the sake of speed used the colour dots I already had for reference.

If you so wish you can easily swap roygbiv out for 1 - 7.

Its personal taste imo, I find letter/number combos harder to follow than how I noted it down; I guess it depends on how well you know the rainbow.

If you really want numbers:
