They swell up like that when mating, so once inside it swells up where the female cannot move away, so they get locked together until he his done injecting his stuff. spooferfish Posted December 31, 2010 Share Posted December 31, 2010 [spoiler=My dog, Jazz] [spoiler=My pleco, Mr pleco.] (I kept forgetting his name, so this works.)He lives with some other fish in my fish tank with mollies ( chocolate chip sailfin and creamsicle) red eye tetras, otocinclus, julii; green; and paleatus corys, and angel fish. (I may take a pic of tank if i feel up to it) I'm actually kinda proud of Mr. Pleco. He is around 8 years old and is the biggest pleco i've seen in person (around 9 inches long).
