I also used to own a cat (her name was tilly) but she died quite a few years ago. The only other pets I've ever owned were fish, and they lasted less than a year.

Not much goes on between those two ears.

Well technically they aren't pets, we're just taking care of them. Long story short: my vet friend works for a wildlife institution that rescues animals on areas that will be used for urban growth. When a tree went down, squirrel mom ran away leaving her 2 baby squirrels behind, needless to say, she never returned. I see my friend all the time so the baby squirrels got used to my scent aswell.

 

 

 

 

 

Such a lovely day yesterday, the cats were loving it outside in the garden :) Jasper (the black one) tried stalking a bird and got a picture of his death stare. Unfortunately he's a bit fat and slow so he didn't really have much of a chance at it :P

There's a huge chance that we might have to keep them, I'll keep one and my friend will keep the other one. This is because they're growing too attached to us, they only sleep when they're on our shoulders/chest, and squirrels who can't do the most basics for themselves tend to not survive. Altho they're becoming quite adventurous, as they keep trying to jump off things like tables lol. In the 2nd video they were trying to jump on my shirt, and then move to my shoulders, which is why I keep pulling them back (one was already on my shoulder).

I got a new kitten today :) She's one year old. She's really playful and cuddly. If you're sitting on the ground, she'll run up to you and put her feet on your shoulder, and lick your cheeks for attention haha. Also, to drink water, she bats at it with her paw, and then licks it off!

 

I melted a little. Cutest pup ever. How big has it gotten in the past few months?

I miss him. I came to America to college and couldn't bring him over (not that I could take care of him while studying, but...).
