He's like 5 years old now, and still 100% a puppy. His goal in life is to make you give him a scratch. He also has a LOT of fur, so he always looks twice as big as he really is. We shave him in the summer, and are always amazed at how not gigantic he is (he is actually about as big as border collies get, he just looks about twice as wide as he is). This is Jill. I think she is 11 or 12 now. She used to be a working dog before we got her. Her new 'job' is to play fetch. She will play until you force her to stop. Also, I am at my parents now so I might be able to get some better pictures. Problem is the younger one will try to get me to scratch him the second I aim a camera at him, so I have to wait until hes lying down and doesn't really want to move. If I'm lucky, he'll do he seal impression (he gets both him front legs under him so that it looks like he doesn't have any, and he can get at least one rear leg under the same way, so that from at least one side he looks like he has no legs). I've never encountered one that wouldn't immediately run away if you did that. I find that they aren't very big on listening to commands (they actually seem to have a very similar mentality to cats), though they are very big on giving you the cold shoulder if they are upset with you. He's crossed with a timberwolf which I think gives him more of a pack mentality and less of a need to roam. The only time he has ever ran away off leash is when we were at a park at night and some kids let off some fireworks. He ran right home though and waited at the door lol. There were times when he was a bit younger when I would go to leash him up and he would run around and not let me catch him, but with the help of some boiled beef heart, he's comes when called 100% of time :shades: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
