November 28, 200520 yr What do you mean seriously? Most people have set ups for their cars, or maybe even their iPods. You have a system set up for RuneScape? Aaaw hell no! This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
November 28, 200520 yr puts out 190 decibles.. That's louder than a Rocket engine from 30m away. Tell the truth.

I remember reading something about a babies scream being 115 decibels with a comparison of a jackhammer ... 105 decibels  I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.

November 28, 200520 yr First of all, thats the truth. Second of all, its for my CAR. 3rd of all, bass doesn't seem as loud as it really is because the soundwaves are different from those say a rocket engine. But yes, i did get 189.5 decibles at a speaker competition. save ur flaming for later, Smithy111
November 28, 200520 yr Also to quote wikipedia Eardrums rupture at 190 dB to 198 dB. Shock waves and sonic booms cause levels of about 200 dB at 330 m. Sound levels of around 200 dB can cause death to humans and are generated near bomb explosions (e.g., 23 kg of TNT detonated 3 m away) I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.

The world record hangs around 170dB, and those vehicles must be operated from the OUTSIDE, because it may be deadly to sit inside with it on. You've successfully made a fool out of yourself. and to clear up misconception, I mean "car audio" not computer audio systems Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King....

November 28, 200520 yr actually, At the tourmanent in Van Wert, the Db gauge did say 190 Db. Now, Call me a liar or what not, but I did turn everything up on my speakers before the competition. I do NOT dare drive around town with my speakers bass and such turned all the way up. I tried it once and it set off a parked car's alarm. As for a fool, learn about what equipment i have in my blazer before you dare remark on what is the truth, and what is not. KK thanks.
November 29, 200520 yr Hehe, always good when people try to show off and get punched down. Got nothing special in my car, but it has always been my dream as a sound techie to get a double decker bus and fill the entire lower floor with bass. That should peak your interest  Although, if I ever want a decent sound set up, I can always borrow my friends. I don't know the exact specs, but it involves 4 JBLs, 2 other-make-of-speaker-that-i-don't-remember, 4 speakers we use for foldbacks, a 48 channel desk, 3 amps (can't remember wattage or anyother details, aside from the fact that I always seem to be the one to unpack them from his van, and they're damn heavy), several Shure microphones (all the beta versions), and enough cabling to go round the equator. We made a crack in the wall of the biggest hall within an hours drive of where we live. Its walls were tested to around 6000w. We reckon we put in triple that amount. There's currently a rather large painting where the crack is  Goals to get my skills back up to a barely respectable level on the high scores: Currently going for Bone to Peaches spell. It's amazing how boring doing the same repetitive task is! Stupid MTA

November 29, 200520 yr To the guy with the suspicously loud speakers: calm down, you're not getting anywhere, give us some technical specifications, proof etc then we'd be more likely to believe you and maybe start a discussion. Until then don't fob us of with some unproven and frankly unbelievable mysterious tournament results. It's a cliche, but no pic, no proof. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
November 29, 200520 yr I have a Sony 80-watt with 4 speakers! Eat it! Then I have a 120 watt 5.1 system for my computer. No, I know nothing of electronics. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
November 30, 200520 yr I give up, im not going into details about this and that. call me a liar, call me fool, but im not lying. pick which side u which to believe, ill end subject now. thanks, dues
