Nero
We're all arrogant and overconfident :P.We know you are, that's for sure. And Dusty, because he likes an excuse to kill you.I already have one, since he sent troops to fight against me in Spain. -- Also, the only countries that potentially have enough influence over the Pope to point where the next crusade should go is Spain and the Southern Italian states. All you other numbskulls switched your relgions to nonsense, so the Pope ain't gonna listen to you. Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino

Retech
Well Poland is nice and faithful too. :P Ja Nex, but did you PM your plans? I need all the details in the PM, or else I have a habit of completely missing things. For example, if I have no numbers, then they will not see action. If I have no tactics because they are all on the thread, your troops may act like imbeciles if your general is not the brightest. Also, I will be only doing the Italian fight tonight, because I feel that since the Mongols technically have no budget, you would be overwhelmed if I had too many battle reports. Soooo, here we go. Italian invasion of Italian States The Imperialist North Italians crossed the 5th parallel into the Republican Italian States, with a relatively large army, led by the lords of the Seat of seven. Opposing them was the great General, Domingo Caesario. In addition to the professional army, the Republic had raised additional militia from the various city states. The battle began on the foothills of some Italian mountains which I forgot the name of. The Republicans had set up a powerful defensive position on two hills, flanked by mighty rivers. The Imperialists began to move up the hill, the first row of militiamen with huge shields with spikes. The Imperialist army was arranged as three triangles adjacent to each other. General Domingo ordered his soldiers to roll huge burning logs down the hill, disrupting the imperialist's formation. Then he sent two thousand men at arms charging down the hill in between the triangles, attempting to break them apart. The manuever was successful, especially after they were already disrupted, leaving wide gaps. This allowed the two thousand heavy horse archers of the republicans to sneak into the gaps, firing close range missles at the unsuspecting Imperialists. Then four thousand merchant calvery arrived on the battle scene, who struck from the side. Unfortunately for the imperialists, the rows of militiamen behind the first were unarmed, and expected to pick up the shield of their fallen comrades. The problem was that their fallen comrades were those behind them, without weapons. The two thousand light calvery of the imperialist struck the merchant calvery, but the merchants had better arms and drove them back. Finally they ravaged the inflexible Imperialist position, tossing them back. Then the remainder of the Republican infantry surged forward. Casualties:14000 Militiamen6000 Longbowmen1700 Light Calvery(For Imperialists) Republican Italy3300 Merchant Calvery1500 Heavy Horse Archers1800 Men at Arms1300 Elite Pikemen4500 Italian Militia Result: Italian Victory! Retech
Sooo... What you're saying is that for now at least, we have beaten the Mongols? I'm saying that people haven't exactly been that prepared with their defences, and I don't want to penalize people who are gone for a night with three parts of a wave of Mongols when they return. :D Master of your domain? Nero
Any errors let me know. Castle was bought for 5m, with the rest of my money from the decade I buy 2500 Welsh longbowmen. Castle is San Sebastian and it guards one of the only two roads going from France to Spain that isn't some goat track through the Pyrenees. It's to be garrisoned at all times by at least 2,000 Militia troops equipped with crossbows, and the fort has watchtowers surrounding it to detect coming enemies. -- Spain places Morocco and the Balearic Islands in its sphere of influence. I got orders to send troops to Spain to protect Cordova and I did so, then you attacked. That's as close as possible to Vienna.I don't think you actually managed to take those isles, last map I saw you only had that part.Nah, Nex only filled in part but I have the whole thing. I got the whole thing because he had the capital on the contiguous part, so when I conquered that I got Denmark. So yeah I still have all those islands. Dusty, the only reason I care is because that means that I have a castle in the middle of central Germany for no reason <.< Also, new budgets today?Just move the castle, I doubt Retech would be mad about that. And Dusty, because he likes an excuse to kill you.I already have one, since he sent troops to fight against me in Spain.Familiar?"You just took down a f-22!""Technically he was the one to hit me."
