Ross, how is it in any way similar to Roleplaying?

Hey, Dungeon, you do any FPS games? I've started playing Combat Arms, though I have to get my dad to do port forwarding every time I want to play on a new channel.

It's role playing because you are playing the role of a person from medieval times...

Mostly it's like hands-on voluntary study. And you're not really playing the role, you pick a time and place you're interested in and use what you know to create a backstory. Generally, you only hear a person's backstory once, if at all. Otherwise, it has about as much RPing as fencing and family consumer science classes.

I used to be an avid player of source games, mainly Counter-Strike and Team Fortress Classic, but then source mods came out, and everyone left for that, but my computer can't run source mods to allow me to compete with the people I used to play with, so that was the end of my FPS gaming really.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

Meh. I'm thinking of trying Mabinogi again, or maybe Vindictus, I feel like I need a good fantasy game.

Oh, Ross, I just remembered - one of the elite Mabi players, Hellsyng, used to wear an Alucard costume (*gasp!* I actually know an anime character's name). It was hilarious, because his character was less than 4 feet tall. Oh, and he carried a claymore bigger than he was. But seriously, not only was he the best fighter and bard, he also made some of the best costumes.

Anywho, moving on, are we going to do this today?

Ja. I will have a battle report started in an hour, so hopefully it'll be done around then. Then I have tennis around six and after that is dinner, so I might be able to fit a second battle report in, since I didn't do one yesterday.

I love that style of trenchcoat. The one with the mantle kind of thing around the shoulders. I have one in real life, but it isn't red.

THEN STAIN IT WITH THE BLOOD OF YOUR ENEMIES.

When's the new budget?

The caves are now the size of a town and more people keep going in.

You realize no such cave exists. We've just been ignoring your blather about that giant magically-appearing sinkhole.

I think Retech allowed it, and yes, caves like that do exist.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

So whats to stop one of my Earthbreakers diverting a nearby river or lake into this giant hole?

That said, I would really hope your people were smart enough to build it well above any nearby water levels...

Non, I took some allready payed quarry workers and sent them there, there's no reason spending extra money to pay someone twice.

Ross, the Zirids are mostly just the Atlas mountains, there's almost no water but a whole lot of elevation difference..

Mather, that sounds like the defensive equivalet of a castle or citadel. No way in hell it's free, or even cheap.

It would probably be wrecked by a flash flood (also if you did not specify retech probably did not put your cave(ish) hidey-hole in the rain shadow of the atlas mountains.

Mountains have bonuses and penalties. They simply make it harder for any army going around in the area.

He put nothing in it, since he's adamantly claimed before that he's been spending his entire budget each time on crossbowmen.
