It was a trap. They were to be placed in the direction that the enemy was charging towards, and I altered that plan anyway, taking the emphasis away from that part.

Anyways, the Zirids being mountains give me the upper hand.

 

Towers are built up in the mountains near the boarder, they are to be manned by arbalestiers and archers.

myy defence is simply the same.. put half of my 7000 SB's as an assist to the defending armies.. the other half is sent to make ambush points. i also send my 5000 axemen to assist in the defence.
