after reading all your posts i have come to a conclusion. Jagex doesnt give you a run for your money. Boats-brilliant. Monekey fight arena- awsome! Boat wars- super! All your ideas are amazing and- reletively easy to implant in the game. shure there making updates and tending to this and that. but did you even notice? Evein if you did notice, did you care? Jagex's updates are only good for a week or so. And carpentry - a skill has been long overdue ( and will probably fail a la Tomb raider) Some of these things my friends could program. And i know some of you faithfuls are going to say this and that about they have other things to do, but what? what are they doing thats so busy. If your a member you pay [/b]sixty dollars a year. are you getting your worth. Post your opinions. I think that those cannon boat wars is awsome thanks 2 huevr.

An update everyweek...compared to most MMORPGS that is ALOT...they get plenty for $5 a month...I really want to be a member, but i dont have time with college apps and stuff, but this summer, i plant to get it for 3 months.

I agree. We pay $5 a month and all we get is junky quests and even worse weapons. Remember the update for "midlevel players" this month? The qeapons were the equivalent of an iron spear, hardly midlevel.

for 5 bucks a month and we don't have to buy the base for 60$, like WOW. This is definetly a good game they have more updates then any other mmorpg. And although i wish certain updates were implemented i am pleased with what we have.

lol whats 5 times 12 tho? sixty. that adds up to a fifty dollar game, or 60 percent of 100! do u have any idea how much sixty dollars can get you? No, 60 bucks isnt alot, but if u can get alot more for it, then go rite ahead. And one update every week updates are targeted to the do all nerds that play the game all day. im not one of them. im talking about fun, and i realize about other mmorpg's cause i played alot, and the games so long u dont need that many updates. But seriously, im talking a real update, like a good, new weapon every week, it doesnt matter what the stats are! look at other mmo's and ull see tons of armor, but if you make enough rare armor, then it dont matter how good it is. as long as collectors are busy (diablo? for instance.) But please guys, you have to see the weekly updates are crud.

I have been a member before, and I think that we get plenty for what we pay for.....besides, half of the ideas that people think are good would in reality totally throw the game off balance, or crash the economy, or other things like that; for the most part, Jagex does think things through, although it would be nice if some ideas were implimented that just about everyone agrees on.

I dont know why im posting in a thread like this, you dont deserve anything at all for your greediness. I really cant belive how cheap runescape is, and how jagex goes out of their way to make all theese updates. Also, the game isnt all about the updates, I usually skip the updates and enjoy the other parts of the game, whats the point of rushing to an update?

Personally I favour ropes and a blunt knife to a sniper rifle. Or, even better, a bottle of slow-acting poison.

Runescape offers a great deal of entertainment value for the $5 a month. Hell I can't even get a cheeseburge meal for that much these days. I spend more for morning tea every day than I spent on Runescape in a month.

Anyways, again I will say: Quit complainging about the updates! There are MANY other rpg's that are lucky if they get updated even twice a month...sometimes we get 4 or 5 updates in one month's time...and they're all fairly nice updates.

i think ur just bein selfish...jagex gives more to members than f2p and i think u sayin that members need more is just basically rude...
