We know jagex stated the higher level the monster is, the greater chance of getting them. We also know they are a 'rare' drop. Now personally I've obtained 2 effigies within 14 mithril dragons on a slayer task, which is my best streak of effigies so far. But wondered, is there a particular monster worth camping at just for a higher chance of effigy drops? Would it be good to camp at mithril dragons? Or was I just very lucky? ultimatballr Posted July 23, 2010 Share Posted July 23, 2010 I've gotten maybe 6 so far since they were released. 2 were in 1 Steel Dragon task. So maybe that's something to look into. My first was from Black Demons so possibility there as well. The others I have no idea where they came from. Apparently, my signature was to big. I think there was an estimate of one effigy per 350k slayer xp floating around on the "all skill to 200m" thread.It's rather 100-150k slayer xp per, or rather even 125-150k, but for frost dragons they seem to be sub 60k imaginary slayer xp per(as they can't be assigned, but we know how many slayer xp they would give). But for the slayer figure, it depends a lot on the tasks you do- higher level monsters drop them more and lower level monsters less often, but at the same time, take more time to kill. The best are probably monsters that are semi high level that are easy to kill, such as abyssal demons, black demons and iron dragons. Also, the small scales mentioned on the thread are completely irrelevant, i have gone 800k slayer xp without one, and also got 3 from a single task, 2 from a single task for like 10 times, but it all averages out in the end.
