Im not sure but i know in order for it to even be worth the loss of piety / eagle eye you have to have leech def / turmoil which i dont have and cannot afford
holiday
I used diamond (e) bolts for when his hp got low. Also, I don't think DDS is too helpful. Look up low level nomad guide on youtube I found one to be helpful

Look up low level nomad guide on youtube I found one to be helpful problem is im not geting him past 1/2 hp so diamond bolts wont do me any good. If i do get him down to 1/2 then its purely by luck. Quyneax
Lose the dds, borrow bgs if you want to spec. You can also lose the spec weapon entirely and borrow arma plate, or buy one. A fury is also nice, +12 magic defence and a little prayer. Don't even consider dragon boots, get ranger or snake. The idea with a BGS is is that it lowers defence by 1/10th of your hit. Make sure you hit over 300, otherwise log. If you have a Statius hammer, use that. When he splits up, hide behind the pillar and relax. Drop vials. Take brews. Drink brews. Super restore. Range pot. Relax... Nomad can't hurt you here. Heartbeat down.... sleep... OK, when you did all that, Nomad will come after you (the timewindow is like 1 minute). When he goes berserk, your kyatt should be doing the work. Just semisafespot him by a pillar so he can only hit you once (instead of twice or more). You move back and forth to avoid him healing all the way ("Coward!") Wisky_is_Goo
Yeah, i would say taking a break from it might curb the frustration. But honestly, you have the correct gear and stats to do it, so patience is key.
blakdragon39
I think you really have to learn from your mistakes. Every time you die, figure out what went wrong. One thing I did wrong a couple times was not approaching Nomad after getting him down to 1/4 health. Just a couple seconds after he was gonna start to melee, he would yell "Coward!", tele to the middle, and heal completely. :( I didn't know I had such a short time to get to him. :P When he's about to hit the unavoidable 750, switch to diamond e bolts. The rest of the time use ruby e bolts. I never bothered with a spec weapon, but if you have access to a bgs, by all means use it. I also never used a Kyatt, but I have the level for a tortoise. Definitely try to remain calm. He's definitely hard on the nerves, but you WILL beat him eventually. :) Good luck!
Sephy_
Inventory/levels are definetly not an issue here, I had very similiar setup though I used blessed coif and unholy book. (Try using them to improve your accuarcy with the bow since nomad is most likely to hit you anyway? Though its not a big difference.) I can't really see what would be the problem except, as mentionet already, you get frustrated (quite reasonable if you really lost 35 times o_o) and try to rush things/not concentrated enough. All I can say, Good luck.
pgmr185
It didn't take me 35 times, but I had a lot of problems too. Just for the heck of it, try this. It's what finally pushed me over the edge. - Don't range at all. When you're frozen just use the time to heal and collect your thoughts.- When you're frozen, swap out your glory and put on a Phoenix necklace. When he hits you with his special attack it will kick in and automatically heal you out of the danger zone. I know that it won't heal as much as a sara brew, but try it anyway. Bring 3 or 4.- Get rid of the sara brews/restores and only use rocktail and prayer pots. If you're anything like me, you're spending too much time healing and fighting with reduced stats. Everyone jumps all over me when I suggest this because the phoenix necklaces and rocktail don't heal as much as the sara brews, but if you're at the end of your rope give it a shot anyway. I personally think that it both works better, and is also less expensive. It also makes for a much more relaxing battle, so you aren't constantly clicking on things like a maniac. skylor12344
Safe moar. Know when the big hits are coming and brew past full hp. its not his big hits that are killing me its his regular hits. I've got every special memoriased its just the normal hits between specials that are eating me up and i believe pgmr is right im brewing to much and hitting hitting with lower stats (after brewing i try to restore then instantly i have to brew again so restoring was pointless) which is causing me to use up all my brews when i need them most

aspeeder
How often are you restoring after you brew? I usually drak a rest after ~3 doses of brew, and tried to only heal when I had to heal around that much. Owned_Nex
First off, borrow a BGS. At the bank chest, sip 1 super attack, 1 super strength, and go to Nomad. Go in, Piety/Mage prayer, and hit him with the BGS spec. If you get 400+, start attacking. If not, run behind a pillar and log out. Go pray at the altar in the monastery for prayer, eat food for HP, and repeat. Second, ditch the prayer potions. Get 1 more Super Restore and 1 more Sara Brew. Seeing as you are getting hit so much, you won't ever get down to 0 prayer points without having to super restore. Remember to Range Pot at the bank as well. Your quick prayer should be set to Prot Magic, Eagle Eye, Protect Item, Rapid HP and Rapid Stat restore. For the fight, immediately go to a pillar. Trade hits with Nomad until you are at 400 some HP. Run behind the pillar. Drink 3 Doses of Brew then restore. When he drops the mines, stand still. When he goes for the 750, hide behind the pillar. You shouldn't have to hit mines, but remember mines hit 400, at the charge htis 750. When he splits up, hide behind the pillar. Drop vials and refill your inventory. When he goes for the HP-1 attack, hit him 2 times then brew to over max. Don't restore, it is a waste. After taking the hit, run back to the pillar, brew, and restore. Remember to check your BGS special. When it is useable, make sure your stats are restored, Piety, and go for a BGS special. When you have 5 Brews left in your Tort, wait for the clones. At that point maneuver the tort behind the pillar. Once you see the clones teleport, dismiss your Tort. Summon the Kyatt. Attack nomad, and start spamming the special(Left click set at Cast Ambush). Soon, he will do the HP -1 hit. Don't spam your Ambush if your Kyatt isn't focused on Nomad. Once the HP-1 attack goes off, brew on the way to the pillar. Once there, drop vials and pick up the brews. You might have 2-3 still on the ground, but they last a while. Once the Melee phase starts, Pray Melee and put Piety on. Save a Range Pot dose for this part. Spam your Kyatt. Switch to Diamond (e). Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some?
