Rev. France:

-Revolutionary army marches on Paris

-With the Imperial Army still recovering in Versailles, the Revolutionaries take over Paris easily

-Spies in Versailles are captured while trying to kidnap King Louis XVI

Result: Paris becomes a Revolutionary Stronghold

Imperial Army leaves Versailles, en route to Paris

Russia:

-Russian Imperial Expeditionary Force and Cossack Army invade Poland

-Poland seems to have been warned beforehand by their spies, has an army of 12,000 (mostly hussars) ready.

-Polish nobles raise bring their personal armsmen and own recruits, intent on not allowing the anti-aristocrat Russia gaining control over Poland

-Russian and Polish armies meet in Lublin

-Polish army beaten by superior Russian numbers, Polish army retreats to Warsaw and fortifies the city

North America:

-Great Britain increases efforts to raise colonial militias in the Florida region: 4,000 Colonial Militia raised

-Great Britain regroups the Army of the Redcoats and the Colonial Army and moves to attack Philadelphia

-US Revolutionary army blocks the advancing British Army, cue Battle of Philadelphia

BATTLE OF PHILADELPHIA

1,000/2,000 Fusilers

10 Cannons

2,000 Lancers

3,000 Skirmishers

4,000/5,000 Dragoons

Redcoats

VS

Revolutionary Army: General Gudyer

2,000/5000 Fusiliers

2,000 dragoons

2000 Hussars

3 cannon

-General Gudyer is only intent on holding the British in place, and so finds a chokehold position to defend

-British attack due to their vastly superior numbers, American Revolutionary army is nearly destroyed, but..

-Dun, dun, dun: American Tea Brigade marches onto the field at the rear of the British position (not even joking, the maps were just too perfectly lined up)

Tea Brigade: General Banks

1000 Imperial Guard

5000 Fusiliers

2000 Grenadiers

2000 Hussars

3000 Lancers

9100 Line Infantry

2500 Skirmishers

4 cannon

-Caught between the Revolutionary army and the Tea Brigade the British are hammered hard, taking heavy casualties

-Only thing that saves the two British armies from their predicament is the arrival of the 4,000 Colonial militia onto the field, which distracts the American Tea Brigade long enough for the Colonial/Redcoat armies to slip away while the militia is slaughtered to the last man

Result:

Result – Battle of Philadelphia: Victory for America

Strength: 25,000+ American troops vs 25,000+ British

Casualties:

Britain: 5,000 line infantry, 2,000 Fusiliers, 1,000 lancers, 1,000 grenadiers, 2,000 skirmishers, 1000 hussars, 5 cannon, 4,000 colonial militia

USA: 3,000 line infantry, 3,000 skirmishers, 2,000 Fusiliers, 2,000 dragoons, 1,000 hussars, 4 cannon

------

Elsewhere, the American Coffee brigade advanced further into Canada and then back

Popular support for the war in Britain drops, dissent rises.

Revolutionaries check the royal treasury in paris, it might have some left.

Also, I send out my fastest scouts in all directions at a reasonable distance, so as not to be caught by surprise.

Prussia shakes its collective head at Imperial France.

"They have the fighting ability of a wet sock" Quaffs the Prussian King, "Though we may have defended them in the past, as one may defend a lost puppy from a savage dog...Now we see the puppy is a runt, and the savage dog its mother, trying to put it out of its misery." to a Russian ambassador.

(Since there are not dictaphones you will have a hard time proving I said it...)

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

How come when I keep putting phased plans, they all attack at the same time :S.

I did exactly what the tea brigade did to me, albeit not as lined up I guess :/.

The plan was to hold them with the colonial line and the redcoats charge in from a completely different angle and catch the line offguard but instead they charged at the same time..

Oh well, it wasn't a horrible defeat and no permanent damage.

Well America should be pretty strapped for cash right now, they've deployed their entire force twice now, has to cost somewhere close to 10 million, and being as their budget isn't too high above that....

Oh and I use 500,000 ducats to keep the dissent at bay, it will be used for luxuries and such.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Russia offers a simple peace agreement to the Polish.

Poland becomes the vassal of Russia

Polish King and nobles swear fealty to Catherine (part of the vassalage)

Poland provides five thousand lancers to Russia for use when required

^

Basically they supply me an army and I protect them. If they shrug it off, they are reminded that the Russian army hasn't even deployed more than half of its forces.

Russia scoffs at the Imperial French as well. *scoffs*

-Icu

Only 500,000? That isn't even enough for one season of my famous opera-ballet-orchestral theater in Saint Petersburg. Britain is a big place (well, bigger than Saint Petersburg)

World's fair is canceled due to some problems with transportation.

If that costs 500,000 which is probably the equivalent to something like 50 million then I think that your opera is a bit costly. Also they can't be that pissed, America's leader died at the same time as them losing a battle, though it was close. And there was no noticeable change at all...

It's a REALLY big shaft.

It runs a show every evening for the entire year. I should add that most of the music is newly written purely for the show, and that the show doesn't usually do reruns, except for the best works.

Besides, I recoup the money in ticket sales from the burgeoning burgeoise.

Prussia beings planning a Great Exhibitions for 1800.

Dusty, plans are moved from St. Petersburg to Hannover as per HRE Emperor I should be able to do this, and I am sure Ico agrees as well.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

The British king is delighted that the enlightened HRE emperor is hosting a great exhibition and that the Russian world fair was cancelled. Though Britain does not dislike Russia, we feel that they should have had a military show instead of a tech show.

Britain asks if their is a theme to the exhibition.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

My tech shall soon rival and surpass yours Icu, but the reason is not because of that. I've just been commited to some unplanned goals which might take up some of my budget.

America sends a message to the British, asking them why they insist in the bloodshed of thousands to continue their oppressive enslavement of millions of Americans across the continent? Why do they send their soldiers, and conscript unwilling troops from the yeomen to fight in a war they don't believe in? A war they are losing?

The deathcount is heavily imbalanced.. Britain is losing far more, in a war they shouldn't be fighting. Why carry on? Only defeat stares you in the face.

America is tall, America is proud, America is right. The citizens of this nation are ready to fight for their freedom, and they care not for the bureaucracy of Britain. Men who wear suits while their 'people' wear rags. Men who count money, while their 'people' count scraps of bread. Men who live on one side of the ocean, while the American people live in a free state. A state committed to their wellbeing.

'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!

Poland tells you to go [bleep] yourself, slimy Russian peasant queen.

Because they were phased like a week apart, and I figured that the General's of the armies would prefer to be close enough to respond to one another in case something happens. I suppose if you like I could redo the battle so that the Colonial army is caught a week ahead of the Redcoats and surrounded and destroyed.

Is the noble army in Warsaw as well? Siege the city and wait for them to leave. If they surrender, take them prisoner and wait for further instructions.

Prussia opens its boarders to fleeing Polish refugees...

Retech, clearly they are not gonna accept you as their lord and master, you should back down before other powers get involved...

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Bah, the Polish were under my dominion since the beginning. What is your proposal to end this war, because I'm not backing down to these impotent Poles.

Out of hand? They called me a peasant slimeball or something related.

Poland shall never be safe while it borders the great Empire of Russia! (Unless it becomes a vassal or protectorate)
