Seizing the opportunity, Ieyfura buys the bread and greedily eats it with profound savagery.

With something in her stomach, her all around mood rises slightly. She begins to inquire as to where she might learn to gain knowledge in herbalism.

"You must be my spirit guide, I have asked for aid in magic and nature will be my sire" Reginald states. Reginald walked up to the boar and see's what he is eating.

I push through to the gaping pit, striding meaningfully holding my quarterstaff and producing a ring in the ears of those near me so as to seem like a wizard and make the crowd part.

-Pieis and Rocco

Rocco throws a torch down into the hole, before Theros comes bounding from behind, knocking both of them into the hole. They land at the bottom, only minorly bruised. The people at the bottom acted as cushions and prevented further injury. The cavern is enormous, at least as large as the village square if not larger. Waist-deep murky water surrounds the pile of cracked cobblestones. A large sewer grate can be found at the northern end of the cavern, while a crack in the wall allows access in the southern end of the cavern, though the cavern is barely tall enough for a child, including the water. The entire area smells of rot and feces.

-Ieyfura

The consensus seems to be that apothecaries and druids are experts in herbalism, but druids are more focused on personel preperation and ritual while apothecaries use the latest scientific tools.

-Edel

The wild boar seems to be young, as it hasn't grown any tusks. It seems to be eating some insects. It begins nuzzling up to your leg before sitting on your foot.

-Nex

The crowd seems to have already parted.

-Ross

Ares accidentally blows himself into the murky water. He is uninjured, but he has gotten a headstart in getting covered in filth. (See Rocco and Pieis portion for cavern info)

Rocco, a good plan would be to look around for flammable objects (you all have dry clothes), now if anyone has metal you need to get a metal weapon and hit it across the ground (you can do this with studded shoes) if your wet get some dry clothes (wait a bit for them to dry or shake them for ages or just use inner clothes like a vest which probably won't be wet) hold the clothes against the usallly dry walls and strike setting the clothes on fire, than just keep it out of water or don't move it enough, clothes will burn for a long time before extinguishing.

Oh, you have a torch, nevermind!

Reginald understood what this meant, the boar wanted him to sit and absorb the nature around him. The boar was on to something, this would allow him to get in touch with nature.

Reginald sat on the floor but let the boar still rest on his foot.

"What now little boar?"

With her newfound knowledge, Ieyfura attempts to inquire as to which of the two branches host which specific branches of herbalism and if there are any masters who do not require coin to become a student.

Ares shouts up the hole to any guards which may be within hearing distance.

"Hello, we could use a rope down here! There are around 15 of us down here, and I assume most wish to not be down here! My companions and I are going to check it out, but some rope or a ladder would be greatly appreciated!"

-Cavernites

A druid emerges from the crack, wielding a quarterstaff covered in swamp plants, and wearing the swampland outfit that Rocco saw before. He raises his hands and holds his staff high, before returning through the crack. The murky water between the crack and the pile begins to bubble.

Meanwhile, the sewer grate doesn't budge, so Rocco and Theros return to the pile. The guards throw down a rope.

-Edel

The boar starts eating Reginald's pants.

-Ieyfura

Both professions can basically make the majority of items, but druids use herbs in raw form as well, while apothecaries sometimes use distillation and other methods to craft a potion.

Druids are usually the ones that do not charge.

-Cavernites

As the peasants begin climbing up the rope, Rocco rushes towards the crack. A swamp monster rises from the depths. Its size is roughly two humans tall and just as wide. Other than a pile of refuse for its body, it has two large and thick arms, with no fingers. Rocco and Theros are knocked backwards as it lifts itself out of the water. Ares manages to escape from the cavern and tells the guards, who quickly rush to inform the wizards and rangers.

(They said they would teach you if you were willing to learn about theology as well, and become a follower of Ceres)

There are no medics around, aside from the clerics and apothecaries. Earth heads to the peasant square.

New:

Reginald looks at the boar and accepts that it is not his spirit guide and walks forward into the forest, the only way he could get in touch with nature and learn the arcane arts would be by being with nature like the first wizards were. Reginald tried again to heal his arms by placing them both in a crossed position and focusing on them and attempting to visulise the wounds close up and the stinging pain go away.

He than tries again to do the same thing.

Than again.

Regardless he trys to climb a tree that looks like it could be sat upon.

I also have more chance of hurting myself, you know getting a low roll and falling over or getting tripped over by a badger.
