I believe the glory's Edgeville tele is the next best thing

It has 8 charges.

 

The next best thing would probably be Edgeville teleports using Amulet of Glory, then running to the fairy ring between the Grand Exchange shortcut and the teleport spot, slightly past the Summoning Obelisk.

I'm not sure how this compares to the Edgeville ring, but using the Ardougne monastery teleport and then running east gets you to a fairy ring fairly quickly.

I use ardy cloak if I dont have a slayer ring on hand. I'd unlock them ASAP though, you can craft them with assist, and there really really useful.

I'll do anything to save time, so I'd rather spend a little more GP on runes or teletabs if it allows me to consistently save 20-30 seconds.

Glory to Edgeville saves time but in the end you have to pay it back with a lengthy Glory recharge trip. I was looking for a teleport with runes

(or better yet, a one-click) that would take me close to a fairy ring. Is there possibly ... a third-best option? .__.

The Edgville one is best.. Although, if you've done the Varrock achievement diary, change your Varrock tele t just below the GE, and that is just as quick as using a glory.

House teleport. ;Mounted glory.

Some viable options:

Varrock teleport with the GE teleport enabled > run west then north/Edgeville teleport via glory > run east then south

Ring of slaying > Fremmenik slayer cave > run west

Kuradal's ring > Kuradal > go north then down the stairs then go north

Ardougne cape > Monestary teleport > run east (I think?)

Miscellania teleport scroll > Run north then east

House teleport > Canifis portal > run west.

 

I personally use the Varrock option.

I teleport home use Canifas portal and go west

Don't blow rings of slayer off just because they have charges btw, you can make 200 in like 10 minutes and that'll last you ~6 months.

i use canifis teleport then use kharryl portal (canifis) then run west

I believe a couple of the new teleport scrolls (Miscellania and maybe Phoenix Lair) are faster than using a glory. Slayer rings are still the best, though.
