MeleeAxe
I think these faces are hideous. I look like jay leno with down syndrome regardless of what hairstyle I choose. I wish they would make these faces optional or something... because I really hate them a lot.
Saunamajuri
I like them, although our characters look so serious now. But then again, adventuring is serious business. "An Amateur practices until he can get it right. A Professional practices until he can't get it wrong." Quests just keep bringing me back to this game. Youmu
So you're ranting about something that is COMPLETELY cosmetic? That is just as idiotic as ranting about Runescape's "horrible" graphics. Sinkhan
So you're ranting about something that is COMPLETELY cosmetic? That is just as idiotic as ranting about Runescape's "horrible" graphics. Well considering the very existence and popularity of most TT items and how the the clothing update was recieved, some people care about how they look in game. I wouldn't say it's idiotic. I haven't really been paying attention to my character's face. Then again, I've just sorta been lazily making unfinished potions for the last few days. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
Bladewing
So you're ranting about something that is COMPLETELY cosmetic? That is just as idiotic as ranting about Runescape's "horrible" graphics. If there was a giant, brown, purely cosmetic crap floating around in runescape, I think most people would be upset. I don't know what my opinion on the new faces is yet. Needs work, but it's a step in the right direction. That is just as idiotic as ranting about Runescape's "horrible" graphics. I had no problem with the graphics... now they take something that isnt broken, smash it up, put back together with bubblegum, and say its fixed. Zaaps1
Hey I hate them too, but there's a simple solution. Keep your camera on bird's eye view. Youmu
His point is, is that runescape is a java based browser game, you can rant and complain all you like about the graphics, but they really aren't going to get much better. Also, they didn't fix anything, they introduced something new. Runescape isn't broken, yet there are always new updates. I quite like the eyes update, it's a step in the right direction. P.S Good luck trying to help Jagex make several million pairs of eyeballs using smashed up stuff and bubblegum.Mr. Botslayer, that is not my point. I'm trying to say that you really shouldn't complain about something PURELY cosmetic. sohkmj1
I am kinda neutral on this one. I appreciate what Jagex tried to do (their intention), but it could use a little work (I think the faces look creepy as hell). I'd say they copied the design from one of our old member's avatars (the one with the really disturbing smile crudely drawn onto a zoomup of a preHD face). I think he was going for 99 fishing or something? Not sure where he is now.
