jayc3399
Is there ever a time when you would use regular antifires if you have supers? Knight_Zaros
Ranging or maging dragons would be a waste IMO to use super antifires. But if your meleeing defender or a 2handed weapon would always be better than say a dragonfire shield/antifire. xpx
Yes to both, but the first is very situational. Normal antifire potions+protect/deflect magic offer 100% protection from dragonfire, so in places you would normally use the protection prayer anyway, you wouldn't really need super antifire if you don't want the free herblore xp(most likely 96 or 99+ herblore). The most common place where you DON'T necessarily need to use supers is frost dragons, but there, it is still recommended to use because of a) soul split flicking b) free herblore xp. So I would say yes, if you fall under any of those criteria. Help drive change Canada
jayc3399
I mean for slayer where you don't use void. Would the +8 of the unholy book be worth the extreme antifires? crashNburn
Any offense bonus is worth extreme antis if you can make them. Interactive dungeoneering floor mapper

Grimy_Bunyip
I mean for slayer where you don't use void. Would the +8 of the unholy book be worth the extreme antifires?if you're missing over 50% of the time, yes.the +5 prayer is also nice at frost dragons, since I burn through prayer potions really quickly when using eagle eye + protection prayer I think of it this way, i can make about 460 super antifires per hour.Thats 40 hours of antifires per hour I spend I mean sure, purely in terms of efficiency, that might not be worth it.But it's nice to have a massive stockpile of super antifires, so I never have to worry about the shield Is there a formula somewhere that tells you how much offensive bonuses are worth?Check out my DPS calculators.you know where to find my spreadsheets :P

jayc3399
Thanks for that, I guess how I'm going to look at it that it doesn't actually cost me more for supers other then the time spent and collecting the feathers isn't to much work.
