I've gone off and purchased 40k gold ore and was just about ready to start smelting with gauntlets at the ready when i thought "surely there's a better way?!" Any thoughts of a faster way of smithing a similar amount of xp without spending much more on this? It's not break even after factoring in the opportunity cost of getting the SC hammers. Only worth it if you are one of those people who REALLY loves stealing creation. I quite like Blastfurnance but it does take forever and frankly smithing is a means to an end for me, not an end in itself!You take out a load of gold ore, superheat some ore while running to the furnace, click to smelt all ore on the furnace, and while you are smelting by the normal way, you also use superheating, as it doesn't disrupt the normal smelting.
