"afk" ways of making money

Need a leisurely way to make money while I watch anime/movies/learn interesting stuff.

Cannonballs (3 mins per interval. Use an accumulator and magpie to max profits)

Churning milk to butter/cheese is also decent, but runs I did were actually pretty short.

Herb runs are usually pretty good. Takes maybe 5 minutes and then you can log out for 1.5 hours.

If you know how to flip items in the ge, that works too since you only have to log in once every 4 hours.

Fishing monkfish wouldn't be great cash or anything but would be easy to "afk"

Remember to do your Kingdom, too.

If you have decent levels aviansies are awesome. Just keep the sound on and check back every min or so. For afking I like to bring bunyips and tank gear without an arma item so they attack me without me needing to do anything. Just check in when you hear them die to pick up the good drops.

Methinks having the sound on would interfere with watching anything. You can also kill something like black demons in the ct that are easy to safespot but take a while to kill; not a whole lot of money but plenty of charms which will save you in the future.

Try killing something that drops stackables, like Jellies (they drop swamp tar). Minimal clicking, and you can get clue scrolls out of it as well.

Erm...jellies don't drop swamp tar. Think you're thinking of cave slimes, which are hardly afkable.

jellies don't drop swamp tar. Cave slime do tho. You would need antipoisens. And not too great for afking, because they die so fast.

 

Black drags in tav dungeon are pretty easy to afk though.

Eh, training melee underneath the temple would lose me money and I only need to make about 10m to get 95 prayer.

 

I am already flipping though to whoever suggested that.. Just wanted to comment that if I were going to actively kill something for money, it wouldn't be aviansie or cave slime or jellies :)

pick up nightshades, it's like 800k an hour or something and like one click per 30s or so

Magic trees. That's what my friend does all the time ever since he got 75 wc from ivy.

I don't think they are tradable, I think you have to make them into poision ++ before.

WC or fishing.

 

Neither are really profitable. Rocktail are a popular choice for the kind of training you're looking for, as they still provide okay fishing exp and mediocre cash. Require 90 fishing though.
