We already use fusion generators, and they already produce energy through nuclear fusion. Creating something to do the exact same thing would be pointless.

 

Not only that, but using heat would be less efficient for creating mass than using light, even if we did have the capability to do that.

Actually no, I've tried to kill Earth at least three times now. And Nex once or twice too. I tried to tank the Russians who boarded us. Then I tried to tank a Russian ship. Then I held stealth position, ready to when Ross was being taken by Jen, though he never gave the word to shoot (he actually told me not to). And last I tried to make a prison grenade for you.

Going by what I do that I'm not ordered to, I believe I'm the second most violent person on the ship, or third now that you've rejoined.
