bodder
I've been corping Mass and ffa but have a couple questions because I want to start 6-8 manning.1) What are you suppose to do while getting attacked? Do you run away from the group so that the magic does not splash on everyone and corp cannot melee you?2) Are there any ways to stop corp from eating my summon? I realize when he is on you and running through him makes him eat you but are there any little tricks? Thanks, I'd love any other useful advice.Bodderrs
Sy_Accursed
Corp eats summons, thats one of his characteristic features. You do not take summons to corp. Quyneax
You do take familars to corp, as he doesn't eat them all the time and the healing is too good to pass up on (ffa and solo at least). When attacked, equip divine/ely and ks/lbs and tank. Though you probably don't have divine/ely. Check the AOW guide for some tips. Sy_Accursed
Really? Mmost of what I've read/heard/seen summons are bad despite the healing cause when he eats them he heals quite a bit. Obtaurian
Depends on what you're doing. You wouldn't use a familiar on a six man team, but you should definitely use one for FFA and solo. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
BeNiceOk
Really? Mmost of what I've read/heard/seen summons are bad despite the healing cause when he eats them he heals quite a bit. An interesting characteristic about the corp room is, if you dismiss your familiar, items dropped from your familiar stay on the ground for the same time that your gravestone would. I am not sure if this is really a bug, but it has been this way since his release. Because of this you can bring a BoB, and kill it at the start of your round. The food will stay there for up to 6 minutes, in which you can summon another BoB after he dies to refill the food and re-drop it. Doing this can easily give your team an extra 2-3 kills per trip. I think the number of people that need to be there is around 10 for unicorn to be worth it- he will still, from time to time, devourer them. First to 99 Farming on 27. xSxqPowerx
Corp does not heal when eating your familiar. Thought that was known by now... Also, I used to take unicorn to 6 man trips, but that was back when people used sharks for food. You can usually at least use up the 3 specs (healing 42), and sometimes have it out for multiple kills. Probably not worth it with brews and overloads now. gremmy
Tank the hits. Don't even think about running away/going under corp/teleing out on 1 lp. Eat, eat, eat is the only thing you should do. Alternatively you can soulsplit flick him, Don't bring summons as already said. green9090
Yeah, flashing soul split while he's on you (alternating with protect MELEE), and soul splitting any time he's not on you and you have less than full hp can save you a whole ton of food. Melee prayer is good when you're tanking because it fully protects from his melee attacks rather than just taking ~200 off mage attacks. However, it's a good idea to keep mage protect on when you're not the tank and not soul splitting to lessen the effect of the splash attacks.
