Mercifull
Many people have gone on to have solo careers but lets face it, the majority of them are all rubbish. A good example i can think of is Robbie Wiliams from Take That. Bad examples include every single one of the Spice Girls who attempted a solo career ^_^ Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape" Jagex 01/04/01 - 02/03/
How2PK
Take That - Robbie Williams Five - That short bold guy, what's his name? He didn't get very far though. The Beatles - John Lennon/Paul Mc Cartney Pink Floyd - Roger Waters/Syd Barret and the others did some less well known solo stuff aswell A lot of other people. Necromagus
Theatre of Tragedy - Liv Kristine Nightwish - Tarja Turunen Interestingly enough, both times it seems to have destroyed their relationship with their band... hohto
Bruce [bleep]inson left (and later returned) Iron Maiden because of his solo projects. They weren't a success tho. Both Timo Kotipelto and Timo Tolkki have done few solo projects, but still their band Stratovarius is a lot better known than their solo projects. I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm
Rizla
Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains has released some decent material since Layne passed away. Also, John Frusciante from RHCP has some pretty cool solo stuff out. Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.
hohto
Ozzy Osbourne - Black Sabbath Damn, didn't remember Ozzy at first  I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm

Bubsa
Rod Stewart and the Faces? Meh, I wouldn't call either big though. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
How2PK
Rod Stewart and the Faces? Meh, I wouldn't call either big though. Rod Stewart is pretty big. George Michael WHAM? Led-Zeppelin
Page and Plant went on to attempt solo careers after Zeppelin, but they weren't that awesome. Heard some of Plant's stuff on Led before bed (local radio station plays an hour of live "Led before bed") was of a few months ago, sounded alrite, for a 50 something year old. I don't think he'll be wearing his tight jeans and no top anymore.
Bubsa
And of course: Phil Collins from Genesis. :o Crikey, how could I forget! :o Should probably count Peter Gabriel as well. Poor old Peter Gabriel. The thing people remember most about him being in Genesis was being a big flower on stage. And the thing people remember him most for as a solo artist is his play-do face getting bashed in in his video for "Sledgehammer" :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
