November 7, 201015 yr still wouldn't play i just don't find it fun. I tried the 3 day demo, it was boring. although this might be because i don't want to start all over in a new game when I'm maxed(combat) here in rs... or due to the fact that i don't want to relearn everything about a new game when i have almost everything remembered about rs. There is also the factor i don't want to leave my rs friends. Also wow has way to many hot keys and spells and skills its little overwhelming.there is alot of skills and spells in wow, and at first it can be overwhelming, but as you learn them slowly, theres not many more things to remember at a time; it builds up slowlyalso the key binding thing is a bit imposing to some but it isnt a necessity. i played wow for about a year and a half, after playing rs for maybe 6 years...once you get level 80 (max atm) it all because pretty much second nature to do in the game. and in a 3day demo, no it wont be fun, it doesnt get fun till max level... I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
November 7, 201015 yr World of Warcraft won't be entirely free, period. With so many subscribers, I don't think Blizzard would want to lose out on revenue. As for Runescape, I can kind of see it becoming entirely free. Membership is basically worthless, and there's only like what, 2m members compared to the 13m in WOW. I would LOVE it if Runescape was completely F2P. My membership troubles would be over! :D BlogTrimmed | Master Quester | Final BossBoss pets: Bombi | Shrimpy | Ellie | Tz-Rek Jad | Karil the Bobbled | Mega Ducklings120s: Dungeoneering | Invention
November 7, 201015 yr £3 a month is already basically free... lol. OT:If you change your location, the payment system changes to your countries currency. HOWEVER Jagex has the prices fixed at what exchange rates to the £ was almost 10 years ago. For Example; change your location to Australia, they have to pay ~10$AU a month, which nowadays is more like £6. Bit of a rip off imo. Be interesting to see if they're even supposed to charge vastly different amounts of money for the same service... Yes there is a currency conversion fee, but I pay in British pounds as I live in the UK, with an Australian bank account. I just checked my statement, I pay $5.60AU, if I was actually in Australia - I'd have to pay nearly 10$. Is Jagex exploiting foreign players? http://www.[Caution! Jagex Rule Violation].com
November 7, 201015 yr I'd try it, obviously, but I don't know how long I'd stick around. I've never played it. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
November 7, 201015 yr A lot of people would do the switch, yes. But I know I wouldn't, I don't care at all about the cost, I just don't find WoW fun. [insert birds flying in a circle here]Yes, that sig was annoying.
November 7, 201015 yr Kidding me? RuneScape sucks ass, I'd switch to WOW if it was free. At least WOW has end game content. Begs the question of why you're still here.

November 7, 201015 yr World of Warcraft? Free? Activision Blizzard? Somehow, I don't see that happening. [spoiler=I LOVE MY STATION] 01001001001001110110110100100000010101000111011101100101011011000111011001100101001000000110000101101110011001000010000001110111011010000110000101110100001000000110100101110011001000000111010001101000011010010111001100111111
November 7, 201015 yr For those saying WoW is too expensive, it's half the price of RuneScape, which is an extra hour working a MONTH at minimum wage (Or something). I played RuneScape since 2004, and WoW since 2005. I played both until about 9 months ago where I stopped both. If WoW became fully F2P I would probably play it every now and then, but rarely, unless I got back into raiding again. Same for RuneScape, if it were fully F2P I would venture on every now and then as well. Click my signature for my blog!
November 7, 201015 yr How is £10 half the price of £3. http://www.[Caution! Jagex Rule Violation].com
November 7, 201015 yr How is £10 half the price of £3. When I was paying for WoW last year it was £7.70 per month (This is the minimum for WoW) and this is still the same.Right now, on RuneScape, after clicking on "Upgrade Your Account", I can clearly since it says "Login and Upgrade now FROM £3.50", which is the minimum for RuneScape. This is about half price, or 45% of the price. If I'm not mistaken, the max price for WoW is around £13 and the max for RuneScape is £6 per month. Which is 46% of the price. Yes WoW is more expensive, but by about double whatever payment method and for how long you choose. So it is 1 or 2 more hours work per MONTH still no matter what method, unless you insist paying for the max price for WoW and the minimum for RuneScape, then whatever floats your boat. Australians in general get effed over by every game company known to man, mass effect 2 is more than double here what it is in US for example. O.O
