So, I'm going for 100 dungeoneering, and the tokens are starting to accumulate.

I've bought rapier, maul, rigour, gem bag, herbicide, scroll of efficiency, and arcane stream necklace already. Right now, I'm at lvl 95 dungeoneering, and I have 200k tokens again.

Should I get staff or crossbow? Note that I do not ever do armadyl solo, and don't really plan to either. I sometimes do TD's, sometimes Dk's, sometimes safe pvp. I'm slightly leaning towards staff atm, since hitting high is always more fun.

I will also get 5-6m more DG xp sometime in the future, so I will probably get both anyway actually. So maybe it's better to see the big picture: What should I spend 700k tokens on (taking into account the items I have already). Bonecrusher and totem really a waste of tokens? Tbh, the only alternative I see is to save some tokens for recharging, which would mean every chaotic would "cost" me 16m or so.

I'd say staff first. I plan to get one after a rapier, whenever I actually DG that much. If you have enough tokens left over, might as well get all the rewards that might be semi-useful to you in some way, even if they are overpriced imo.

That's just me. If you want to save money on recharging chaotics, go ahead.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.

Coal bag is very useful if you ever mine.

Bonecrusher isn't that bad, if you've got plenty of tokens to spare it might be worth getting - nice for slayer tasks.

Coal bag is handy when mining in LRC when all gold is collapsed, and i think it will get updated to be able to fill within bank soon, so will be good for superheating too, and it's uber cheap anyway.

I see you 99 herb, maybe scroll of cleansing is still something to look at even if only making extremes/ovl.

Between X-bow or staff i'd get the staff, safe pvp in mind.

I got all the overloads I need (got 99 making them) so I won't buy herb scroll anytime soon, but I certainly will if I ever decide to make more.

Right now, I'm thinking of getting staff first, then bonecrusher and totem, and lastly chaotic crossbow. After that I will keep the rest (should be around 200-300k) in case I die with a chaotic, or to recharge em cheaply.

Wait, no scroll of life?

I'm fairly sure he does have one of those.

I'd get the bonecruncher for the heck of it (cleans the floor nicely) and the demon horn necklace (also for the heck of it really). In the same category, the pet is cute. The anti-poison totem is nice for pp and dks. The ring of vigour can be a nice surprise in safe pvp.

+1 to the totem for PP since you don't have 99 thieving yet.

Cross bow is great for tormented demons.
Cbow would be better for dks(assuming tribrid) imho.

Wait, no scroll of life?

Srry, I do have one, just forgot about it.

I'm just not very keen on c'bow since I seem to never even use a normal c'bow so yeah... + a max hit boost is much more visable than a bit more accuracy.

Staff simply because you said you enjoy safe pvp. I love my staff, and got it first. The staff is simply the best in the game, no more upgrades, that's why I'd reccommend it.

cbow >> staff for safe pvp, lol.

staff is pretty useless, you can barely feel the 5% difference

The staff is BAD. There's almost no reason to ever use it over a staff of light- it's SO much more expensive for such a small bonus. Not only do you lose the significant rune saving effect, but then you have to pay recharging fees on top of that. I wouldn't use the chaotic staff for anything even if I could get one for free.

Meanwhile the chaotic crossbow is a better rune crossbow. Since rune crossbow is the most common ranging weapon in most situations, you can't really go wrong by upgrading it.

Staff is not BAD. The staff is the BEST staff in the game. If you need to worry about costs while maging in pvp, then you shouldn't mage at all.
