How exactly do you know it's a magical academy? For all you know, you're trying to break into the royal palace or something.

Well I've been travelling for most of my actions, and some were trying to fix the problem at the quarry, other than that though, exp has been fairly fair :P

A headache can be caused by anything I sugguest a cup of tea (or other drinkable liquid), a painkiller and some rest. If you want to do the session then just be sure to drink and don't rush to respond to all actions. I'll try to say as little as possible with the exception of my actions, if everyone else does that too you should easily be able to keep a calm, steady pace and thus rest your mind and body a little better.

Fixing Dungeoneering will be like fixing Hegemony...Either you:

Archi, kill people when they do something stupid and aren't terrible interested in balancing.

Ross, knock people out when they persist in stupidness, and have a vast array of balancing techniques.

Retech, allow stupidness, and then punish people who are more powerful than other people.

Now that you post it, my technique seems noticeably worse. :P

 

 

The only thing about exp for me is that it should be somewhat directly comparable. For example, two magicians with totally unrelated magicks (not like fire and water, since usually water would win in that case) would essentially be tied if they got equal rolls, if they are equally experienced in their fields of magic.

 

It generally makes it easier (for example, you know when someone is a beginner or a master) and it keeps things consistent.

I think we should create a Dungeoneering compendium. The magic, the monsters, the characters, and the NPCs. I'll work on it, if you like. :)

From story, to webcomic to database? What else will we think to turn dungeoneering into next?

 

A game?

A movie?

Maybe how it would work could be that you describe the characters and the monsters and the NPCs that you are knowledgeable on and we could help fill in your knowledge? And the magic would probaly be easier if we just sent that to you, since it might be hard to actually salvage through all of the sessions to find out which ones.

Well I've been keeping notes on the metals and stuff Ross tells me, cause that's pretty important in crafting. :D

I am against the idea, it then turns the game into a whole, who has studied the database the best. I mean you come across a monster you've never heard of, look in the database between rolls and then get his exact weakness.
