Wow. What an experience. Some people may find it pointless and obnoxious, and some people may find it violent and absurd. I happen to love it, always have and always will. I don't find it pointless at all, I find it very satisfying in all categories.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

reasons being: If your listening to good music don't tell me you don't have that feeling of adrenaline, that feeling that just makes you want to move. That feeling that just makes you feel good inside. Thats usually a big deciding factor on why people like certain music. When listening to some hxc screamo or some metal music, I get this urge to go crazy. I don't care whos watching, I don't care what people think. Just makes you want to get mean. Sometimes I will scream along with a song, or sometimes Ill go into the pits to just throw my arms and kick my feet, while other people are enjyoing the same sense. Anybody in the mosh pits knows this feeling.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That feeling when a screamo song starts off slow, and just goes crazy. Wow, what an awesome feeling. People should know if they are made for the pits or not, obviously if you can't handle a little pain. I suggest you not step in, but if you feel like going crazy for a few minutes. Enjoy yourself, release that anger within when the song is just right, and you won't even feel the pain your getting dealth, your just excited to go crazy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you've never moshed... try it out. Give in to your adrenaline, and just do whatever you body tells you to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I definitly don't find pits obnoxious or annoying in any way, but I know their are people with different opinions. I wannna know them all, Im so interested on what people think about this subject.

Nah don't get me wrong, it is definitley fun to beat the crap outta people to music. But It gets old after a while with peoples' elbows going into your spine.

Cause that ruin the fun you idiot. Rock music is nothing without the mosh pits. The atmosphere from the pits is what makes a good gig into a bloody amazing gig.

Its fun only if you're doing all the butt kicking, this is why I used to crash middle school dances and start mosh pits, PWNAGE.

circle pits are the best. hardcore dancing and pushing people is pretty silly. circle pits are jsut plain fun.

It's a laugh. Sometimes i kick people and then run off.

 

 

 

Havn't moshed since the last gig i went to. Got punched in the temple and spent the rest of the night concussed ^_^

Its incredily immature, pointless, people get hurt and most of the people that do it are complete tossers.... but its fun so i jump in there too ^_^

I love moshing. It's great and it's fun. I hate circle pits though... and hardcore dancers... :x The hardcore dancers always push the moshers out of the pit so they can have it all to themselves just so they can swing their arms around and kick. It makes me angry. Haven't moshed in awhile since I haven't been to a gig in awhile. I could certainly use a moshpit's help in venting right now. :D I must remember to go see a good band soon.

if you mean moshing by push mosh thats the most pointless and stupidest thing. 2 step and slam dance takes more skill and is far more respected. moshing anyone can do.

So the mosh pit is somewhere where people run in and start kicking and dancing and punching like crazy? i guess it sounds fun.. er untill you get hit.

moshing is sic!!!!!!!!!!! i went to a lamb of god concert and they did the wall of death its were two sides o the moshpit seperates and then they launch in to the opening riff of black label and then randy screams 1! 2 ! 3! 4! then both sides charge it was the most insane thing ive ever seen 8)

Story of the Year did that at once of their concerts, and that was the most insane thing I've ever seen. Wall of Death is just what the name says, I guarentee people die from that [cabbage], but I would love to be a part of one. Coolest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
