Dungeoneering Rewards.

Well, i know most of the people will say that the first thing you should ever think of "buying" with your tokens is a Rapier. But seeing as i am nearing the end of combat related skills (only have 2 levels of Slayer left) i think spending 200k on a Rapier would be rather useless. Sure, i might do the occasional Boss Hunting, but that's only going to be at Armadyl, Zamorak and Dk's. At Zamorak and DK's a Whip + Dragon Defender does the job just as well.

As for Slayer, doing another 2 Levels with a Whip won't bother me at the least.

 

So keeping all of this in mind, what should i invest in first? Which of the Dungeoneering rewards are the best helpers when it comes to skilling?

Currently i have 35k Tokens.

 

Edit: I was thinking of getting a Scroll of Life as well as a Coal Bag.

 

That still leaves me with ~21k tokens.

if you farm herbs then you should definitely get a scroll of life

Yeah i try and do Herb Runs as often as i can.

Aslo, what does the Gem Bag do? Just store Gems in it? If infact so, what's exactly is the use for this?

It can store up to 100 uncut gems(sapphire,emerald,ruby,diamond).I use it sometimes during slayer tasks in which a lot of gems are dropped.Managed to fill it 3 times so far.

This is correct, however i still believe, for your circumstances, you should get

if you get something other than a rapier you'll probably regret it

 

rapier always comes first unless you have 1 attack 1 strength

Yes i am totally not going to regret buying an item for 200k tokens which is going to collect dust in my bank and get used once or twice a week (if that much) but rather regret buying items i'll end up using multiple times a day.

If you're gonna use pyramid plunder to level thieving, then antipoison totem will be a very good choice.

Scroll of life for sure, scroll of efficiency/cleansing if you do smithing/herblore.

Arcane stream neck if you dks.

After that there is really nothing that offers anything more than a marginal bonus. No one mines coal so there's no point in coal bag, antipoison totem is useful but you can just buy antipoison potions that last an hour. Gem bag is kinda useful but when you think about it there's not that many gem drops when you kill stuff and it takes up an inventory spot by yourself.

A rapier will improve melee efficiency by 10% compared to a whip, much more than any of the other rewards.

Bunyip + EE eliminate the need to cure poison.

Or the little booklet from the brain quest... cures poison for a few prayer points. Use it with falador shield and you're set for a nice mount of time. Of course, EE/E is a nice addition to this.

Well the rapier will improve your slayer, ZGWD, DKS. Ccbow will improve Armadyl and DKS, maul will improve slayer (wfs tasks, lol) and cls will not. Staff will 'improve' dks though I'm not sure it boosts profit.
