Aten
I'm using Sumona for slayer tasks and will be going to Duradel very shortly. Curious as to which tasks are worth cannoning, which should be permanently removed, and which should be done straight with whip. Quyneax
Cannon everything and block stuff you don't like. If you don't like cannoning (for example) steels, that's ok, but at least cannon everything else. Sy_Accursed
Its worth noting however: Cannoning slayer IS more efficient in terms of xp however it will totally kill off profitability on 99% of tasks as the cost of cannon balls > value of drops. Ezkaton
Basically the method I use is everything I can cannon, do, everything I can't - Piety. And @Sy - It may kill off some profitablility; however I still make at least 3X the money invested from slayer. To get me from *i think* 85-90 I used up a 25M cash pile on cannon balls and prayer pots and came back with a 75M cash pile when i sold all my slayer drops. Herb runs and MTK topped it up a little but, but the majority of it was all slayer stuff. Sure you wont make the 4X or evern 5X the money when going for pure profit, but it's still really really good money. JPMC Mate
I only cannon Spectres and Bloodvelds. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. SirIzenhime
Depends on what kind of slayer you want to be.Do you want be a casual slayer, you want to still do it effectevly, but don't mind missing a few K xp an hour so you can more money?OrDo you want to be an efficieny power slayer 'nut'? If the first...the tasks you'd cannon would be tasks that you either A) want to just get over with quickly because they make no money, but you know are good xp, or B) Actually make more money when you cannon. Tasks like Bloodveld and black demons come to mind to me when I talk about good xp tasks...with no money.Tasks like Aberant Spectres come to mind when cannoning them actually can make you the same, or more, money then if you did without. If you're looking to be the power slayer...if you can set up a cannon...then that's what you cannon. Quyneax
Cannoning metal dragons can be/seem a bit of a waste, and if you have a steel titan and are on a budget, meleeing them in the chaos tunnels resource dungeon is also quite fast. Other than that I'd just cannon what you can. Our_Moon
I cannon every task and only block uncannonable ones and dragons (slow to cannon =p). Last winter, I used to average 30-32k xp/hr (no dungeoneering, no steel titan, no lamps/effigies, but with piety, cannon, and potions) with Sumona, but i'll admit that it's quite hard to do that (or, at least it was, ten months ago.) I would assume it's possible to get over 35k xp/hr these days, but i'm not entirely sure... i find that the "better" slayer masters often give more hard-to-cannon tasks and therefore slower exp, but that's just my preference. At 98 slayer, i still recommend Sumona ^^. PS - I recommend trying some of the more exotic (warped things, suqahs, etc.) tasks with a cannon at least twice before blocking them. I personally LOVE warped tasks, as i can cannon them ridiculously fast... it all depends on your play style, of course.

People go there if they want to cannon an Iron/Steel Dragon task. My friend goes there for em, so I know what I'm talking about. Btw, there is only Bronze Dragons in the CT, not Iron Dragons. Really?
