January 13, 201115 yr defender on everything but wyverns This pretty much for the reason Linus stated, the monsters you're not praying against rarely hit particularly high so any damage taken can usually be covered by EE(E) or a healing familiar. You need to use a DFS/Elemental/Mind/Body shield against wyverns to avoid taking heavy icy breath damage which can't be blocked by anti-fire potions or shields. January 13, 201115 yr Defender unless a big shield makes you feel like more of a man. Sort of how CLS sucks against most things as a primary weapon but people still use it to compensate down there if you know what i mean. :unsure:

January 13, 201115 yr Rune defender was already better than DFS. Go guess what's even better now. this. the dragon fire shield is really only for killing dragons, but without a noobie shield.it kinda fails on both. I'm a Brony and proud of it!
