Dungeoneering at level 94

Recently lost my rapier due to the server kicking me out, haven't done dungeoneering for quite a while. Last time I did it I had some competent friends who made it fast, did 25 minute floors to my chaotic crossbow. They're not dungeoneering anymore. Tried a random dungeon in 148 and it was TERRIBLE. Almost an hour for floor 35. So I'm not doing that again.

Is there any way for a level 94 dungeoneer who isn't a moron to get likeminded teammates, or do I have to solo to 100 so that I can get back with people who don't suck?

I had a question before, and Quyneax was pretty good at answering it

Looking at your combat stats they are pretty much in the same range - this means melee will be by far the best primary attack for you. Using the berserker class ring + a two-handed sword would give you the best all-round performance.

As for teams sucking, that will keep happening until you either hit 90 dungeoneering (at which point they will not be the best, but better) or 130+ combat and 80 dungeoneering. At that point you can use w148 instead of w117.

I'd recommend solo/team with friends until 60+ dg.

I figure that you're fine on either 148 or 117.

Your combat is definitely high enough, and your DG is pretty high as it is.

If these two don't work out so well - keep with some parties on whatever world you've been doing it on.

Hopefully, you'll come across a few good parties that you can run with for a long time or at the very least - you can develop yourself as a keyer.

It sounds like most of the time, the keyer brings the skill set needed to finish a dungeon fast. If you can handle that task, then I'm sure gathering up a group of consistent decent players won't be a problem.

Good luck anyhow - sorry about you losing that Chaotic Reaper. I feel like dying and all I want so far is a Bone Crusher :(

Almost all dungeons on w148 are in the 40-70 minute range.

Either get good at carrying your team while keying, find a new team/friends, or just deal with it.

At that point I'd rather solo- teaming with idiots really makes me hate the game and I don't end up getting much done before I ragequit. Thanks anyway.

And this is why I don't really like the idea behind some DG clans

Unless you have some epic connections...you're out of luck. You either team with 148, or solo until 105+ dung

If you do get lucky and find other people who are good while dunging, be sure to add them like you did before, try to add a lot of them, so you'll have a high chance of people actually being on to dung

I've added you. I do 25-35 min dgs.

3bo having a 105 requirement is a perfectly acceptable thing to do, izen. They want good people and the only way of filtering out the idiots is by dg level*

@ SirIzenhime: Jettrider said on a previous topic that 105 dg (8m xp) makes people experienced with their 3rd bind (hex/2h hybriding etcetera).

@ Green: You'll just have to use 148 methinks. If you ask for 90+ 135+ teams and key yourself I imagine you should be able to do sub-40 minute floors with some practice, occasionally. But yes for the most part, it's still not the best. I know some pretty good keyers in 148 though and it's good to add them for future reference.

Add me. I'm almost always DGing with friends who are very competent (hi Cheezedude and Quyneax), and it'd be nice to have more connections when we need teammates. The less randoms on a team, the better.

The cc dung mates has some really friendly people. They often do floors 30+, but are really friendly and I've never had someone quit on me.

Thanks guys, I'll add you's who wanted adds when I get on later :)

Last night I did some combination solo/keying with 148s, wasn't so bad (35-45 minutes, depending on how often I had to spam ggs at levers/mimes/skill doors I couldn't open). I think my mistake on the first floor I tried was jumping into a forming team- as bad as I am at keying compared to some of my pro friends, I'm still a lot better than most 148s. Using this as an opportunity to develop myself as a keyer is a decent use of time, so I'm gonna do that.

I didn't say they were a bad idea...I just don't like the exclusion they cause.

You can join noquitters in-game cc if you have a hood.

Its not really a widely known clan, but we do have a bunch of 100+ dgers and the clan itself is 90+.

Hi if you're reading this you are amazing and I love you.

Maybe they'll release a bugless update for April Fools. That'd sure be a joke
