A New Possible Form Of ACing

Well with the "old" wilderness returning, so comes the old dangers. Pkers may now camp the lever again for returners to make free loot. Something we used to do back in the day was have an AC not only out on the battle field, but we had close friends protect a select p2p world's lever tele. that way returners won't be easy prey in their f2p gear to p2p pkers.

So my question comes.

Do you see this returning?

Would you be willing to p2p AC for clan returners?

I personally, would be willing to spend some time watching the lever for returners to insure that my own clan mates who cannot GDZ tele would have safe passage in our wars. There's also a nice chance for some loot if you're out there in good numbers.

There are over 80 P2P worlds...

I think he meant that on that particular fight world, those people return and the ACers keep the return route clear.

It could come back, but then again it might not be the best thing. Most clans that AC end up accidentally killing members of the clan that they're ACing, because a lot of members use spares, or they're just plain not known at all.

Thank you. And it was just a thought. It doesn't have to be done, but it would be nice to know you have a safe route to return on.

I don't seem to remember any form of ACing in the days of the wild. I dont think anyone's willing to AC like that - sounds pretty boring for the ACers.

You've inspired me to hunt returners that use the lever. Nice going

I'm glad I can inspire you. As someone considering going into the teaching field, it is my passion to inspire children to try new things.

It's a good idea but I'm not sure it would have a huge impact on most P2P fights. Then again, I'm no P2P specialist so I could be wrong. :P

i was pking up at corp entrance, and someone from cl was returning and he died, so, maybe instead of level, you could watch corp lair.

but again, sounds pretty boring for the p2p ac'rs, doubt anyone would do it for a long time.

at least back in the day, there wasnt really much returning, it was you die, you die really. now its all HAY LETS DO A 14 HOUR PKRI LOLZ so it makes it alot harder to AC

easier ways to return now than lever

That's exactly what I was going to post. P2P levers are virtually an obsolete method of returning, even moreso since canoeing is now f2p and there are axes there to use.

What does AC even mean?

Clans frequently war in the deep wilderness, but this opens them up to outside participants crashing them. Therefore many clans request other clans 'anticrash' (AC) their fight in order to keep it as clean as possible to better determine the winner. While AC'ing doesn't strictly apply in this case, because when a clan member is returning they are not part of the fight, meaning killing them isn't strictly 'crashing'--he's trying to say that a small team of pkers could protect the paths that clans used to use to return to deep wilderness fights by pking those who wish to disrupt returners for free loot.
