I'm now thinking about using my old guthan's set, but arent there any faster / more effective ways / gear to kill them? I dont have a EE to heal since I do not have the stats to get one.
February 8, 201115 yr You could try using guthans, a few sharks, and just switching to guthans when you need to heal. =p Or just get an EE as they are VERY useful here and let me do my tasks with minimal effort. Summoning help:[hide=Wio, lol][/hide]
February 8, 201115 yr You're right beside a teleport, banking is faster than using slow damaging guthans. As for gear, a chaotic rapier would be better if you can be bothered to get it. Obsidian cape has slightly better def than legends (+9 vs +7 I think). If you want you could use verac's brassard (decent defence and +4 prayer, prossy is +7) or just use a barrows platebody but you're probably better off just taking the damage and saving ppots with prossy.Good on you for using piety. quit

You could try for a little more prayer with ardy cape 3, prossy legs, and just pray melee. Or if you're willing to do it, focus a little more and pray flash. You really should try to get the stats for the EE though. It's probably one of the more useful diary rewards. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement.Also check out my blug

February 8, 201115 yr Right... hellhounds are weak to anything, you really shouldn't need to exploit weaknesses. These are not steel dragons you know. Get a prayer boosting cape (god cloak works), proselyte legs and pray protect from melee. It's not that much more costly and saves you a bunch of trouble. Alternatively borrow bcp, but that probably won't do. February 9, 201115 yr Bones to peaches tabs are the best option imo. Actually this. Peaches + Yip should be enough without pro melee.
