Runecrafting

Featured Replies

I understand that deaths/bloods are now semi-risky(some jerk killed me earlier and I lost adze and pouches <_< ) but why are there so many people crafting astrals?

Oh and another little question. If you can make double runes (like double astrals at 82 runecrafting) can you make more than 2 runes per essence?

As far as I know the multiple rune table is as follows:

http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=runecrafting_guide.htm#multi

Since there's only a 82 - I don't think you can get three astrals per essence.

Ah I missed the update that gave a crafting what I thought was every rune a chance of more than one rune per essence. Now that I read what you put a link to it says that only applies to laws, bloods and deaths. So that's interesting I guess. But now it makes me wonder why people craft astrals even more...

Because you can craft around 2.9k essence an hour, and at level 82 RC, it's a fair bit of cash.

Rob... Why not just ask me... ;-)

Deaths are good, just need to use rune axe now (more obstacles+eyes as opposed to mining/wc). Its all good though, stuff is higher in price. Higher price=better profit for you!

wait, people still train rune crafting by crafting runes not at ZMI?

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Why did you even bring an Adze? As far as I remember (and I don't think it changed), you will always appear in the Abyss near either a gap (Agility) or some rock obstacles (Mining). There is never need for any other tool.

An adze solves your mining rock problem no?

Just that, you need to spend an hour lighting beacons / running around the NEW old wilderness to get your adze back now.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

You might as well bring a Rune pickaxe, which has the same weight and same power but doesn't require you to relight all beacons to reobtain. Alternatively, the Mithril pickaxe weighs less (1.8kg compared to 2.2kg) for roughly the same effect while being even cheaper.

Eh, just in general - an adze is a helpful thing to have.

If he already has it, there's no harm (just becareful about getting away from pkers I guess)

But like somebody said earlier (I think around level 80 RC) Zmi is probably the best for exp.

Die with an adze and tell me there's no harm in that.

This.

ZMI is better than all of those

And this.
