How do you manage to add so much detail to such small figures? Do you shade them bigger and then resize?

Nope, I just do everything pixel by pixel, and I try to pick colors that do the job well. Zoom in, you'll see what I mean.

i don't get why you post how many colors you use, it seems like you want us to be impressed by how many colors you used rather than the actual work. to me, i don't care how many colors or shades were used, its all about the final image.

Actually it does, the more detail you can get with a smaller amount of colors the more advanced you are in pixel art. 7 colors is dam impressive though. Good job GS they're very gool.

The people here pay money and look for the final result, not the amount of colors used. Not trying to start a flame thing or anything, just stating my opinion. The way you show how much skill you have is to make a more detailed image, if it means you use more colors, then thats cool, but if can do it in less colors, thats cool too.

A very true statement DH. Besides, color conservation is just a facet of pixelart I enjoy. I like pushing things to their limits. :)
