VoidRealm Posted February 19, 2011 Share Posted February 19, 2011 So I recently bought a Bandos Godsword as I'm planning to make a few trips to Bandos (It's pretty fun, and sometimes nice profit too :thumbsup: ) But I need some help on what armour to take, and the set up (food, potions, god equipment - to protect from the minions) Remember, my Weapon slot will obviously be taken by my BGS My levels are - 85 Attack86 Strength80 Defence85 "Constitution" 65 Prayer Any help is appreciated, Thanks :thumbup: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Except for in this case there are no positives for using a godsword over a whip. You will do less damage and take more. Not to mention the increased time for killing the minions. Then we told you that you will perform better with a whip and ddefender. If your idea of fun is killing graar fewer times in a trip and doing less damage then by all means take your godsword. Better to sell it though and invest the extra money into piety which will actually help there. The very best thing you can do is stay away from Bandos until you become competitive. It's not an issue of not being able to kill the boss, it's an issue of not being able to hold a world from crashers. If you feel a driving urge to do godwars you could get a few kills at Zammy if you had a decent team (especially a tank). Oh, and really, REALLY sell the godsword. Use a whip, defender and borrow some dragons claws if you really want a spec weapon. Not only is it a bad weapon but since your prayer is so low, it's costing you effectiveness. Bandos GS price for the past 180 days I kinda doubt it, considering all the people killing bandos and that there are many better alternatives to the BGS I only see it going down, at most it'll rise a few hundred k before it continues to crash, just get rid of it now. Like someone else said, if you got a team together of 20+ people with your stats, you would be crashed instantly by just two maxed players. Sell your BGS and buy piety.
