Because that's how it works? I, like many other nations (including NPC's) were against slavery and invasions of Canada. I'm taking the most realistic response. Imagine if in real life a country were to invade another, blow up a city for very little reason, take a million slaves, and go back home. I don't think everyone would just go along with their days and not care, most countries wold condemn it. As would most people go against the US invading Canada.

 

And Spork, the US doesn't have an ungodly powerful military in this game, because you have to purchase one. Oh, and remember Iraq, and Afghanistan? Canada is a lot better at fighting than them, and we've still gone through hell in those wars.

 

Spain makes a statement that it will try to stay out of these wars, unless Europe is attacked, or, naturally, if there is any attack on Spain or her small number of territories. Of course, if this escalates much further we may be forced to enter the conflict directly. We also express regret over the massive loss of life in Indonesia and Argentina. 2.5 million civilians dead is simply atrocious.

 

We remain open to Canadian refugees, and will accept any Argentinians who are against their government and need a place to avoid persecution.

The Brazilian government will go into a closed-door meeting to discuss its reaction to the recent Argentinian-Coalition war. Our current position on this matter is neutrality, though we will inform the public of our decision shortly, whenever the conference takes place.

Terms:

Germany and Argentina cease conflict in Argentina, and Argentina pulls out of Australia (if there's anything left there).

Argentina releases all slaves (though any can choose to stay as citizens if they choose, and this is acceptable to the Argentinians), as at this point they're more of a problem than a plus right now, and slavery is abolished.

 

Seeing as the Argentinians seem to have a decent amount of trouble at home with the independence of Paraguay, I think lowering how many fronts they're fighting on would be highly beneficial for them.

 

OOC: Brasil and Argentina can really do what they please with South America, as long as it remains as humanitarian as possible, with no major loss of civilian life.

Was just saying that's more your jurisdiction, as you've made your stance very clear about foreign capture of South American territories. Though the culture difference is very large between Brasil and Spanish speaking south america, so you invading and keeping it that way would be more difficult than Argentina doing so, but then again Argentina is probably fairly hated right now by NPCs.

 

Actually, Spain begins conducting a poll of the world's opinions on all this warfare if possible. Im mostly talking about NPCs, so archi'll have to answer this one.

Not sure if Japan will carry on with the war, I mean it's not really the spirit of the game to kill someone cause they argue with you. And as every player government knows the real reason behind the war, I think the world government does too. So I don't think any country who has any moral standing will just allow Japan to attack you any further.

On the subject of Canada, Germans never got to Toronto, it is still very much in the hands of America.

 

Also back in the other games, where war lasted a year as if it was real...in the real world fighting to a matter of weeks...on that premise no one could respond to anything...

Furthermore, war isn't supposed to be dreadfully easy, hence why America doesn't declare war on Mexico and Canada in the real world...

Assuming a Trident 2 Missile, it carries eight 485kt bombs, each of which weighs 360 kilograms. So lets round that to 3 Tonnes of High Explosive, which should equate to 0.375 of a 8 Tonne bomb(MOAB), which detonates with 11 Tonnes of TNT of explosion.

Now 11*0.375 is 4.125 Tonnes of TNT.

Little Boy Atomic Bomb had a TNT Tonnage of 15 Kilotonnes(ish), and had a blast radius of 2 Miles.

 

Now, while not directly compatible, I think it is fairly reasonable to assume that a 4.125 Tonne bomb would not be able to spread itself 4 times as far, doing 4 times as much damage as a 15,000 Tonne Bomb...Am I right?

 

Nor do I think that a bomb of 4.125 Tonnes of TNT could kill more people than a 15,000 Tonne Bomb.

Even if we take 450,000 people as Hiroshima's 1945 population, and 10 Million as Jakarta's population...and increase of approximately 20

Argentina retreated from Australia 4 years ago immediately after the initial invasion, nor did Argentina blow up sydney (actually didn't, not just saying this) and after we signed a cease-fire they continued to bomb us. The slaves were certainly immoral but Archi wrongly assumed that there would be South Africa slaves where, I chose to invade and steal slaves from the African countries as far away from possible from all states controlled by Taverners. I object to my slaves being more rebellious because there SA ones there and honestly it's pretty damn annoying that SA got a bonus from something I stated was not in my plan.

 

Now Argentina has been attacked and our ally Brazil has abandoned us, despite all her claims of defending South American sovereignty from foreign attacks.

 

You wish to go to peace? Then compensate me for what I've lost; so many soldiers, so many planes, so many civilians.

 

Unironically believe that I am the victim here.

 

Condemnation breeds hate, Doom, you think if Pyonyang got the chance they wouldn't try to destroy all those countries continually condemning them? Our people know of the persecution aimed at them by the Spanish, not only in the modern world but for millenia. Argentina demands an apology.
