brad1431
I keep having people tell me to get 95 prayer for Turmoil. Everyone seems to say that this is the end all greatest thing ever. It gets almost as much praise as DGing, if that is even possible. Can someone explain why? Also I have read people say, once you get 95 prayer, you dont ever need food. Who cares about needing food, food is cheap, and almost every slayer task I do, I can do it in one or 2 runs, so why would that make any difference at all? ghjkl
food interrupts combat turns, and the extra banking slows you downturmoil generally just offers a much higher boost in damage than pietysoul split is crucial on many bosses and in dungeoneering
Assume Nothing
There are multiple benefits of having turmoil. First of all, your curses drain a lot slower, so you can pretty much turmoil an entire slayer task without banking (which is more efficient than constant banking) Secondly, prayer potions restore more prayer points, which is also beneficial to any situation. Thirdly, you would have access to soulsplit, which does wonders pretty much anywhere. Soulsplit flashing would be the equivalent of free food, without taking up combat turns or many prayer points. It isn't about the cost of food, it's about efficiency. Lastly, it doesn't cost any more than what you've paid for to utilize Turmoil, compared to Piety. With Extremes, you would have to buy more herbs and potions and make more extremes, which could accumulate cost over time. Do the math and decide for yourself. ruben1026
With turmoil and soul split u don't need to make multiple runs and you finish tasks faster a lot faster. So you get a lot more exp/hr
chrisman638
You are more efficient with turmoil then you are with piety. This is why you should get it. SS just eliminates food in all places other then very high leveled monsters.
Quyneax
Soul split is the difference between chaos tunnels and ancient cavern for waterfiends. With soul split you can tank steel dragons, survive at mithril dragons etc. with a yak. With soul split you can use a combat familar instead of a unicorn at some places. Then again all that isn't worth it if you lose piety on your primary weapon, hence you get turmoil as well (which is also better than piety as I calced for you earlier). msavic6
The only problem is the 200m price tag :( The only thing keeping me from getting turmoil is this.
Hakaan
My bank value is never above 40M and I still bought turmoil in a reasonable amount of time. Go for it one level at a time and make smaller goals for yourself. It's quite worth it. Come support my max total goal here. Briobe122's 10-step guide to staking:1. Get cleaned2. Vow to never stake ever again! (very important)3. welfare tds and get claws4. kill glacors til i get boots5. bandos ffa or more tds til i have around 50m6. realize that it is far too hard to rebuild using steps 3, 4, and 57. give up the vow to never stake again8. go back staking and make your bank back9. if you failed at step #8, Go back to step #110. if you succeed at step #8, you will eventually feel the need to make money for rich people stuff, have a bad day of staking, then get cleaned anywaysPain is just weakness leaving the body. Th e Doctor
Don't camp something for 200 mil. Buy the levels one at a time or you will hit burnout. SirIzenhime
29% atk boost32% str boost 'nuff said* *while you don't get that full boost on everything, almost all slayer tasks grant you that, or extrmely close to.Coming with Soul split is also a bonus. To put it from my personal experience. I didn't use prayer on tasks (like boosting prayers), after I got turmoil, I started using it....and now I hate myself for not Pietying tasks pre-turmoil. Durant
Turmoil is worth it. You just need it to efficiently do high leveled combat...whatever it may be.
