It's based on the book by the marques de sade. I don't 'like' (in terms of OmG RoFl) the film or anything, but I do think it's an above average film, with at some moments very good cinematography. Surely it's not for every viewer, but I'm not every viewer. On itself it isn't that great, but it being Passolini's last movie he made before he was murdered does mean something, and of course the main reason is the rarity since I already got the DVD on the British Film Institute version.

Update from my side: this sunday! Got a new and very big cabinet, everything is re-ordered, got the space it deserves. It's gonna be good. 8) (too bad it will be missing the Salo Criterion since I won't have it 'till feb. 28 )

eh, still no camera to take a pic with. my colletion is looking better though, a few more special editions and box sets, with a some regular dvds to buff it up a bit.

Well, finally got my mates camera. I think it's a bit of a crap camera, it's very sensitive and it takes like 15 seconds to take a picture, in that time you can't shake or your photo will get bad. >.>

The Mysterious case next to the Alienhead is actually a Matrix Attache Case, containing the Matrix, promotion DVD of the old Matrix game and a Soundtrack CD of the Matrix. It also contains the oficial Neo shades. It's numbered and limited to 5000 and used as promotion matterial for the Matrix.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here's a picture of my Casablanca CDA set. The box contains a 2-disc Digipack edition of the movie. The lobbycards, exclusive black and white photos, a senitype and a big poster of the movie. Heh, I'm collecting for 1.5 year now. Besides I don't need to pay much per month, insurance is low, and the only other thing I do is buy DVD's and go out. :P

Maybe you shoudl try saving some of your money instead of spending on DVD's for a while. Ya know incase you ever want a car or house ^_^

 

 

 

Im starting to save for a house now lol so no more DVD's for a while, or at least not as many as ive been buying lately. My dvd collection has gone from about a dozen a year about to about 150 lol

Yea, I'm stopping with the L.E.s now. Just normal DVD's so can save up a bit. But just had to buy this to complete the rare DVD's. :P
