Commandant
Name some of your favorite drummers. Mine are: >Travis Barker >Derek Bloom These are the two that really inspire me to play drums.
Lageris89
I don't know all their names but: Gene Hoglan The drummer from The Red Chord The drummer from Hella The drummer from The Mars Volta. Wow, I know less than I thought. These aren't necessarily the best in the world, they're just my favourites. And before anyone else tries: Travis Barker and Joey Jordison don't even come close. AThousandLies
I think a drummer's live performance, rather than his/her studio performance showcases their talent and ability, as opposed to a studio recording.

Lageris89
my personal favorites are John Bonham, Keith Moon, Dave Lombardo and Nicko McBrain. Lombardo sucks, if you're referring to the drumming he's done with Slayer, Paul Bostaph is FAR superior. I actually can't believe I missed him off my list. Tokytoky3333
You guys all play the drums right?? I do! Mine is Benny Greb and you can't forget Dave Grohl, man he's so frickin cool! Imagine being the drummer in the Foo's, it would be so annoying cos the lead singers better than you :D I don't know what it is, but something keeps telling me you "own"?"When you're happy it's like you're a bird; you can fly. How2PK
Not really any favorites, but I really like Chad Wackerman, Phil Collins, Ginger Baker and Ian Paice. Tonight I first saw a "Rush" concert and I must admitt Neil Peart seemed to be a very skillful drummer as well. But I'm no expert of course. Oy_the_Great
Me, myself and I ;) Naa, this is my top 3: 1/ Dave McClain (Machine Head) 2/ Dave Grohl (especially in his Nirvana period) 3/ Lars Ulrich I don't even really like metal, but Lars Ulrich and McClain are just awesome. Check thisout if you want to hear the beats of Dave McClain! Bill Hicks[/url]":dhj2kan9]Since the one thing we can say about fundamental matter is, that it is vibrating. And since all vibrations are theoretically sound, then it is not unreasonable to suggest that the universe is music and should be perceived as such. Tokytoky3333
I'm not sure if you can post links... but if you can, go on this website and watch some of the videos of the drummers... they are all so sick! Ones I suggest watching: Dennis Chambers Benny Greb Steve Gadd Chad Smith drum duet with Ian Plaice (or whatever his name is) And basically check out the drummers you like, but they don't all have videos... Site is http://www.drummerworld.com Enjoy! I don't know what it is, but something keeps telling me you "own"?"When you're happy it's like you're a bird; you can fly.
