I didn't want to miss it, what would be the point? It's not often we get these sort of events and it's nice knowing in the future that you can say you were at least a small part of it.

 

Exactly - not that's much of a bragging right, but hey at least we were part of the ~2bil poeple who watched it :D

Ended up watching the highlights. Last night though, the people I was with wanted to watch the pre-wedding show, which was ridiculous.

 

My personal favourite was: "Kate was seen wearing a FUR HAT the other day, there is some speculation that her wedding dress will include fur!".

The chaser (Australian satire group) were banned from doing anything on the wedding, which I find ridiculous

I don't really see what's so special about it, to be honest, aside from being a "royal occurrence", so I won't be bothered watching it.

 

I still don't see how they deserve that much attention, even if it's a part of British culture.

 

It just doesn't make sense... :wall:
