jayc3399
Hey, I have a slight problem, I dont know which to pick. I'm currently 89 Herby and I have approximately 57million in herb supplies banked for the bxpw, that will get me to about half way to 96. I'm wondering if I should use that, or sell it all and buy 92 prayer. Lep
Sell it near the bonus weekend and get 95 Prayer. Extremes are good enough for now - they are almost the same as an overload.
LitterBug
It's not worth getting 92 prayer just for ss because piety is much better. I would probably suggest getting to like 92-93 herb - and start stewing to overloads.
My_Eggs
I'd say herblore. I don't feel that getting up to just soul split is worth it. Either get herblore up, or save up until you can afford 95 prayer and then get that. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
n64jive
If you like to pk, get 95 prayer. If you like PVM, get herblore. Simple as that.
jayc3399
I should note, my primary use is for slaying and PvM Quest Cape Achieved on November 14, 2007Items AcquiredCrystal Pick and HatchetBerzerker Ring x 33/28 Barrows Items

Nifflin
I would go with turm. Remember, you also get SS. No more food needed for slayer ever. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. jayc3399
Unfortunately the money from those supplies only gets me to about half way to turmoil using a decent method. n64jive
I'd say get the GP for turm then. What method are you using? If you struggle with money making (which no one should, the game is made in a fashion where content is equally hard to obtain for all players), maybe try infernal ashes. jayc3399
1. I would use infernal ashes and I'd need about 95million to get turmoil. 2. Making money is painful for me. I do farm runs and MTK regularly, but it is still rather arduous. JacTise69
Have you done blood runs deep, nomads requim, void stares back, and while guthix sleeps? Those together will get you 450 k prayer exp, 70 zeal (to be spent on prayer), 100 k exp that can be spent on prayer and 400 k exp that can be spent on prayer+3.5 mil cash respectively. Just doing farm runs and mtk should be 15 mil a week easy, add in dailies and you're up to 20 mil, two weeks for the money to get 92-95 prayer. Infernal ashes will make your mind explode though. Good luck. Trolling by giving good advice since April 2011. The Blog - Currently Cleaning Herbs
jayc3399
I've used all those rewards in the way you mentioned. Ashes are about the same xp/hr as dbones so I dont understand the last part and how many farming runs a day with snaps do you need to make that kind of money? Also is there a list of which slayer task are or arenot worth using overloads on? JPMC Mate
If you can afford 73k per Overload on every task, you should use it. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. SacredFlam3s
i would get 91 herb with ovl and keep the rest, then boss with ovl for turmoil. frosts are just not good enough now a days with all the bots and even the german/french/brazilian worlds are filling up. DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots

Also is there a list of which slayer task are or arenot worth using overloads on? Ashes are about 50 k exp/hr worse than d bones which adds up quickly. Both are less than half the exp/hr of frost dbones. 6 farming runs a day at 250 k profit a run is 1.5 mil (10.5 mil a week), dailies are around 500-700 k a day (3.5-4.2 mil a week) and MTK is on average 2-3 mil a week. That brings the minimum to 15 mil a week, add in any other money making inbetween herb runs and you're set for money for prayer in ~1-2 weeks. Trolling by giving good advice since April 2011. jayc3399
I just about never get 250k profit on a herb run with snaps and jujus and to do six runs a day you need to be on every two hours for twelve hours that isn't feasable for most people. 300k/hr is still very fast xp compared to some skills so I'm not to worried about that part. Do you also have a scroll of life? And herb runs are every 1.5 hours so it only ends up being 9 hours of being awake, its more than feasible, I manage it and I work from 11:30 to 5 everyday. Also you can often use a scroll of cleansing for an additional ~30 k profit per run making those snaps into unf potions. Trolling by giving good advice since April 2011. JPMC Mate
Yes I have the scroll and most people have 8-5 jobs. 7:30 AM - do farm run.5:30 PM - do farm run7 PM - do farm run8:30 PM - do farm run10 PM - do farm run11:30 PM - do farm run12 PM - sleep That is 6 farm runs a day, which means 50k per farm run (if using scroll of life and jujus) * 5 patches, which equals 250k per run. Multiply that by six and you get 1250k profit a day. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base.
