I am going to be honest and mention I have no idea how to play the Pokemon TCG. Period. Then again, coming from someone who didn't get into the franchise until Gen II, I never really had any Pokemon cards to begin with. As for MTG, I only tried it once 7-8 years ago but got bored because there was nobody to play with.
