Since you need 51 effigies (+1k xp) to get 97-99 in a stat with just dragonkin lamps, my goal will be to gather the 153 effigies required to do that for runecrafting, agility and mining.

 

I will also need to get whatever level it takes to get 97 in those stats from opening the effigies associated with them.

 

However there can be no more than 28 of each type as my inventory can't hold more than 28 effigies and you can't bank lamps. Which is going to suck since I have 21 gorged mining already.

 

On the other hand there is the brilliant scheme where I open all agility effigies first (only have 3 so far so gathering 100 more should add 15 max). That would get me 97 agility. Then I would use the excess mining ones on agil as well. Etc. Major [effigy] trouble.

Gathered 16 strange rocks today (rc agil mine fish craft smith fm thieve), only need hunter and woodcut tomorrow, may get 92 hunter as well (380k off).

Got all statue rocks, can finish in two days.

 

23 tds in 34 minutes (40.5 kph) and an effigy, hunt > fish > woodcut > thieve, all easy skills.

Just had a crazy good td trip - got Latin's spot to work (thanks much for that, it rocks!). 2 effigies and claws in 40 minutes, 1.25 brews used in total (with titan!).

 

Waiting on kills but it's at least 17 :P. Apparently it was 39 in 40 minutes. Me likes.

Seeing your pics of TD loot makes me jelly.

 

Would you want to maybe duo/teach me how to TD sometime, or just tell me an ideal setup? I tried doing them after WGS (granted I was much lower leveled) and failed miserably. I think with practice I could get the hang of them like Glacors.

Congrats... I've killed 340 tormented demons since yesterday. No dragon claws, eight effigies and one ruined dragon armor slice. And a lot of troll drops like key halves, nothing(!!), nature runes and uncut gems. A 1:42 rate for effigies is nice though, I guess.

 

Edit: make that 378 kills and ten effigies. 1:37 drop rate now.

Neitiznot helm with 90 steel titan scrolls

Virtus robe top and Virtus robe bottoms

Ragefire boots

Goliath gloves

Berserker ring (i)

Ardougne cape 3/4

Arcane spirit shield + dragon defender

Chaotic rapier + polypore staff

Arcane stream necklace + amulet of fury

Eee specs, darklight, sapphire lantern

3 overloads

3 prayer renewals

Rest prayer pots, leave 1-2 spaces free

 

Titan summoned at the chest.

Not mage, and why would you want to do that? It doesn't increase kph. Virtus bottoms have 4 or 5 mage attack over gano legs and +1 prayer with the lifepoint boost, it's the top that's iffy but still clearly favours virtus.

 

@Zaap: yes, and degradeable items would be awesome especially.

Im a nub without eee or Uni, so I sorta need healing if I can get it. Spose Virtus helps a fair amount though.

Well I've tried that and unless you can perfectly ss flash with 2 demons on you (with 4 and 5 tick weapons, alternating) you're going down, safespotting is probably still preferable. Ganodermic won't let you ss tank two demons meleeing or one maging or anything, you can tank the last couple of hits while your titan finishes a kill and move on to the next for example, but that's it. Main attraction of Virtus is that if you lose 500 lp because of a bad spawn you still have another 500 to lose before you have to start safing.

 

Not that gano (poncho only) wouldn't be better if you wanted to tank 2 demons all the time, but you really shouldn't want to do that :P.
