I think this might help. Theres a mysterious statue by port sarim and 1 by by gnome tree stronghold They form a perfect trigle (well almost perfect) with a point near the mages guild. The mysterious statue near port sarim also is in a triangle link with the wizard's tower and Draynor. maybe its got something to do with gnome stronghold 2 cause thats another place where u can goto rune essence

That doesnt mean they arent a clue. All the points they make a connection to are points that have something todo with magic, Port Sarim magic shop, Theres and entrance to the rune essence in the stronghold(gnome), mage guild, WOM's House, Wizzy tower. I like the idea about the WOM trying to become a god, and those thoughts on a quest, but if the WOM or Zaros ended up being a boss, would they not end up being nearly impossible to defeat? If Zaros came back in his physical form, who knows what power he would be able to summon. I don't think even Zezima or the other high leveled players would be able to withstand it, so the only possible way I can think of to defeat Zaros is to have a group of over 300 men with you to battle the god. But if it's not a multi-combat zone where you fight him, then... BAM! The slaughter would be huge. Oh, and before anyone says, I highly doubt 'Protect' prayers would work against a god.

 

 

 

Now, back to the idea behind a god war- if that were to happen, Gielinor would surely snap in two, plunging everyone into darkness. I have a feeling that not even Guthix would be able to intervene against the WOm and Zaros. So, if the quest comes out, I think Jagex will be saying this- either stop the WOM before he becomes a god, or you and everyone else dies. Well, that would surely allow all the clans to join forces to defeat the menace of the Wise Old Man and Zaros. Wow, imagine over 300 people charging against whatever army they may summon- it'll make history.

 

 

 

Let's hope nothing comes up to defy the WOM's seeking to become a god, as I really like your ideas on this.

What about the penguins? The idea was laughed at, and it ended up becoming a quest. Why wouldn't Jagex take it up another level? No matter what people think of them, they are pretty intelligent, and would be willing to take on ideas and possibly implement them into the game.

Anyway, just because that's what WOM's intentions are doesn't make him unstoppable. That's the idea behind the quest, to stop WOM before he does something that could destroy Runescape. It's perfectly plausible.

You need that skull for a Meembers Quest called "Fairy whatever i donnot care/remember", you bring the skull to Malignus Mortifer and he uses it in a special ritual to enchant your secateurs so you cna kill some pest..

I think there was a brief discussion about how WOM and MOM could be brothers, but it would seem right that they were the opposite. One is greedy, the other is charitable.

Perhaps just come along once a week to have a quick chat about him and his possible plans? I think it might make things a little bit more interesting and get more people involved in this story. Well, we can make a post in the Tip.iters own events that says "Wise old man disscussion society". In it we can post a little ressume of theis conversation, puttinga home world and some date with time to make the disscussion in the first floor of the wise old man house. It would be nice because at the end of the disscussion we might post the ressumen of our conclussion for that day and post a date ofr the next reunion.

It would make more sense for it to be in a series, due to the fact that we'd firstly have to discover in some way that he was planning all this, then we'd have to devise our own plan to stop him. That would take a long time, due to epicness of this, so I think the only possible way to do this quest would be to put it in a series, such as The Wise Old Man, Part I, II, III etc. or else players would get pretty bored concentrating on one giant quest.

 

 

 

Unfortunately, the more I think about it, the more I believe that this quest shall end up being Members, and if KCHughes theory is correct and we do have to fight Zaros and the WOM at some stage, then it just adds to the possibility that it won't be on free worlds. You see, we have two powerful people here- a god and one who is trying to become a god. They would be ultimately supreme to every player on RuneScape, even more so to free players, largely due to the fact we have an obvious lack of extremely strong weapons and armour. Ultimately, Zaros and the WOM would be infuriatingly difficult to kill, maybe even impossible. On the other hand, Members stand a much better chance, as they have much better weapons, armour etc., but it would be a very hard quest all the same. I doubt Jagex want to make something impossible to complete, so, as I've said, it'll more likely be Members. But I'd prefer it to be free, so everyone could get involved, but hey, it's not my choice.

We would also have to have a backup leader for all of the meetings.

As far as a uniform goes, all the parts need to be able to always be bought at a store. We might use the Kah Bah Gee cult's uniform. It is a priest's top and bottom. (The black ones bought at the clothing store in Varrock square.) A red cape. (Also in the store) A fire staff. (bought in the staff shop) And a Chef's hat.

In other words, keep it small and friendly? However, if only a few people spam, we wouldn't have to put public chat on friends as we could just add them to our ignore lists.

I'm not so keen on using a clan uniform, so I was thinking something a bit more simple. Maybe a black cape, black priest top and bottom, and a black wizard hat?

The discussion group sounds like a good idea. A nice open convesation sure beats posting on here and then waiting for replies. Let's decide on a few things.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Location. In order for me to attend this is going to have to be someplace pretty out-of-the-way. (Meeting in a frequented area will attract tons of people asking me about the little silver crown next to my name :P ) WOM's house is too close to the Draynor bank and people often go upstairs. I've got an idea; how about the Water Rune altar? It's pretty close to Draynor, not a high-traffic area, all you need is a water talisman or tiara, but if you have any better ideas, share them!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Time. 1 hour before TET events sounds like a good idea, unless anyone would like a different day or time. We can record what we say and then post it on this thread after the meeting, so anyone who misses it can recap easily and be prepared for the next one. I can be the one to record if nobody else wants to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Organization.

Yes, spam is bad. Keeping it down to a few people would be necessary. I'm not usually one for structure, but if you would think it's a good idea to have some form of leadership to keep us on track, I think we should keep it democratic and vote for whomever wants the mantle of responsibilty. We could probably make some guidelines for meeting etiquette, if we see it necessary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Uniform. Why not? :lol: Something that everyone has access to. Of course, it would have to be completely optional.
