... sounds good, but I dislike clans heavily, lets not call it a clan, please, its very annoying, like there is not enough of them out there already...

Its a good idea to keep things casual, otherwise people like me will not be able to work and think to full potential.

update: WOM and miss schism have left the lumberyard (at least world 12)

1. Location. In order for me to attend this is going to have to be someplace pretty out-of-the-way. (Meeting in a frequented area will attract tons of people asking me about the little silver crown next to my name :P ) WOM's house is too close to the Draynor bank and people often go upstairs. I've got an idea; how about the Water Rune altar? It's pretty close to Draynor, not a high-traffic area, all you need is a water talisman or tiara, but if you have any better ideas, share them!

Well, if I can massacre enough wizards for the Water Talisman by the time of the first meeting, then sure! It's a big enough area, close to Draynor as you said... perfect.

2. Time. 1 hour before TET events sounds like a good idea, unless anyone would like a different day or time. We can record what we say and then post it on this thread after the meeting, so anyone who misses it can recap easily and be prepared for the next one. I can be the one to record if nobody else wants to.

Providing that you don't mind, then that would be great. This way, nobody misses out on meetings.

3. Organization.
spam spam and more spam
Yes, spam is bad. Keeping it down to a few people would be necessary. I'm not usually one for structure, but if you would think it's a good idea to have some form of leadership to keep us on track, I think we should keep it democratic and vote for whomever wants the mantle of responsibilty. We could probably make some guidelines for meeting etiquette, if we see it necessary.

For the amount of people, how about just the posters in this thread, and anyone we wish to invite e.g. people on our friends list? As for leadership, I think you should do it- not only did you bring the joy of this thread to us, you are also a Player Moderator, therefore you would easily stand out in meetings. And as for meeting etiquette, first and foremost Jagex rules will still apply, will they not?

5. Home World. Uhh...that's a matter of logistics, I think.

Well, it is memorable, and makes sense. :P

Okay, here's what it looks like we have.

Location: Water Rune Altar near Draynor (inside the actual altar, not next to it.)

Time: 1 hour before the next TipIt event. (I'll keep a log of our conversations).

World: 7

If anyone has any objections, feel free to voice them and we'll work them out as a group. For the most part, this sounds very good.

Should I edit the first post so everyone knows what's going on?

I agree with KChughes, but why a uniform I prefer casual. Its not like we have special status or anything. (is this the beginning of an evil empire?)

I will defy any special clothes to wear!

The WOMDA is a very good idea however

Well, it sounds alright to me. It should go smoothly if carried out.

When we have all come to a decision, then probably. Who knows- some casual viewer may stop to look at the current theories circulating around this thread and spot these WOM meetings, then might be interested in joining.

4. Uniform. Why not? Something that everyone has access to. Of course, it would have to be completely optional.

I'm sure you won't be forced to wear a uniform, Xewleer.

Looks like 8:00 GMT 3:00 Eastern US, this Saturday.

So, if we are doing it an hour before the TET event, we meet at 7:00pm UK time I presume? Well, I should be there.

Sorry, I misread the page. 8:00 PM UK time.

Don't worry, easy mistake.

I have obtained a Water Talisman, so all being well I should be able to come. Also, I had a quick search around the area surrounding the Water Altar this morning. Lumbridge Swamps was totally deserted then, and I think it'll still be now and tomorrow. Hopefully nobody will notice a small band of people walking through the swamp. Of course, we could always send out a scout if you wish.

Well, I realized something yesterday. Not sure if it's important, but the four levels of the Stronghold of Security appear to be named after the four Horse Riders of the Apocalypse (so I've been told). There are also four stones in the Falador Stone Circle. The Stronghold and the Stones are also relatively close together. If we add this all up, we could find out what each stone symbolises- they might not symbolise good, evil etc. at all! They could symbolise the four levels of the Stronghold! Now, what if the WOM were to visit the Stronghold of Security? He might remember the various monsters that dwell within, and if he gets summoning, he might just use those particular monsters. Just think- an army of Ankou's would be near unstoppable. Of course, still doesn't explain much about the stones... unless those four stones do symbolise the summoning runes, and each one may be used to summon a certain monster from each level e.g. a Pestilence Rune will summon a Catablepon, giant spider etc.

That's right...war, famine, disease, and death were the 4 horsemen. They came in that order as well; war first, then famine, then disease, and finally death. It's the same way in the stronghold. I'm not sure what that may mean. :-k

The Apocalypse, maybe?

Well, Guthix did say that if there was another God War Gielinor would be destroyed. So now we have the WOM trying to become a god, which will certainly trigger another war- yep, we have War already! The God War will completely dry up the land's supply of food, due to the high chances of ghasts coming out of Morytania if the war were to start- Famine now! The lack of food would trigger diseases, and if the creatures from Morytania were to roam freely across the land the chance of this would be so huge that disease would be nigh impossible to avoid- well, there's your Pestilence/Disease! War kills. Famine kills. Disease kills. All of these eventually link to the final thing- Death.

This is all coming together like a jigsaw puzzle now. But what pieces are left to find?

Well, essentially yes. Of course, we could always join the WOM and serve him in the barren wasteland that will come after the destruction of Gielinor. However, that will mean we'll be no better than slaves, but hey, sure beats getting ripped apart by fifty Ankou's. :P
