KingWenlok
I don't think Trobigod would approve. He'll squash you! As much as I won't enjoy fighting someone with an Abyssal Whip, it'll have to be done in the name of Zaros, I'm afraid. It'll be sad to kill you, him, 1alebcay, chad197, and everyone else who posts in this thread though. Don't worry- I'll tell Zaros to make it quick. Well, I would basically have to betray you. At the last meeting there were four of us, and if it stays that way we're going to be plagued by death. However, if I leave, there's three- the perfect number, as a late Lee Van Cleef once said in a certain very famous movie. :P Oh, and the next WOMDA meeting is tomorrow at 7:00pm GMT, as a reminder. Hopefully Trobigod will come- he's a practical treasure chest of information. Professor Oddenstein has his um..."Portal Machine' Perhaps the Wise Old Man might use it. That is interesting. Are there any monsters in the place that machine goes to which might be of use to the WOM? Or is there any other special thing there, regardless of whether or not it's an object or a person? However, it is rather unpredictable to say the least- don't worry though, if you're going to a TET event, you can leave the meeting at any time. We'd love you to come when you get the time though, and that goes to everyone. The first one was very interesting. P.S. You've brilliant English for a Dutch person. :)

You can listen to the frogs if you come early. :D It won't matter if you come or not, but we'll be glad if you can make it. There should be a meeting the week after though if you can't. krisc6
have you taken into consideartion the links to the sea and the freminik to be more precise.theirs a map on the wall adjacent to his bed indicationg a ship heading towards an "x" and on the bookcase on the same wall theyres a small viking ship a lot similar to the one in the freminik port.A lot of the examines also point towards treasure so maybe thats on waterbirth island(maybe the freminik isles aswell.possible). thats my hunch on the clues ive found on my own what does seem to be a reaccuring theme is the wizards tower.he seems to have a keen interest in the wizards tower. great thread btw.so many possibilities and connection even if theyre isnt a hidden story to the wise old man

KingWenlok
KCHughes, I just remember that you said there are different rune animations on the opening page. Well, just now I saw one that looked very similar to the eye/freemason symbol on one of the Falador Stones. I'm almost certain that these are symbols for runes now (most likely summoning). Out of curiosity, have you seen any more rune symbols that are like the ones on the stones? and thx for the sig 1alebcay made them, not me. Out of curiosity, have you seen any more rune symbols that are like the ones on the stones? The symbol I saw was the sun-like symbol on the split rock. I didn't know the eye/masonic symbol was there too. I'll bet if I watched the flames later I'll be able to see the rest of them, too. I looked through the new quest guide and part of it said that there are things called "life altars" under the new tower. And, what are life altars without life runes? I think it's only a matter of time before the "summoning runes" get released and players can summon without the aid of the Life Tower. The new tower is probably some kind of introduction to the idea of summoning so players can get the hang of it before the real skill is released. That probably also proves that the 4 symbols are runes. However, if I leave, there's three- the perfect number, as a late Lee Van Cleef once said in a certain very famous movie. :P Keep in mind that six is also the perfect number, as said by Clint Eastwood in another very famous movie (at least in the Italian version). We'll need two more people! "Six men, six bullets..." Hopefully Trobigod will bring information from the new quest. The guide also said something about summoning being a "dangerous power" reserved for the gods.... #-o Darn it, Jagex! WOM wants to become a god, too! It all makes sense! P.S. I'm guessing we're going for the same time as last week? Darkluniux
The 9 is a perfect and powerfull number, it is almost equal in power to the 7. 3 = Trinity 3*3 = 9 The Knight Templars were 9 years in the solomon's temple before their order were oficialised by the vatican.. The founders of the the Knights Templar were 9. Among with the 9, the 3 is a very "sacred" number.. 333 = three threes.. How about is we remove one? 33 = supossedly the age that Jesus had when he was cruxified.. And the 33rd degree of.. Well, have imagination. Ah, i almost forgot 3*2 = 6.. How about if we add the number 3 and a greek cross (One of Knight templars' more used symbol) among with another 3? 3+3 = 6.. 3 times 6.. well you know 666. And i donnot think i need to explain. And that's is how you become something holy to something unholy.. Or is that what "they" wants you to believe? Is the holy really holy and the unholy really unholy? Just keep in mind these numbers.. May came handly in a near future.. Just donnot let your mind being controlled. I posted that on my forums. Just wanted to be part of the numerology combination lol. http://darkluniux.blogspot.comBehold my blog! Thou shalt visit it and rejoice!

That probably also proves that the 4 symbols are runes. 'Life' Runes? The opposite of Death and possibly, the apocalypse? Maybe even a small gleam of hope? This Life Tower might be the only thing that could stop the Wise Old Man from becoming a god. Say we got these Life Runes. If they are summoning runes, then we could create our own army to stop the WOM and Zaros. Only trouble is, the WOM will have more knowledge about summoning before we even lay our hands on those runes, so his army will likely be far greater than ours. Oh great... :P Keep in mind that six is also the perfect number, as said by Clint Eastwood in another very famous movie (at least in the Italian version). We'll need two more people! "Six men, six bullets..." Aye, but there were seven of them before he shot that poor man. "If your men stay out there, they're liable to catch a cold, aren't they? Or even a bullet." At least, that's what he said in the English version. Hopefully Trobigod will bring information from the new quest. The guide also said something about summoning being a "dangerous power" reserved for the gods.... #-o Darn it, Jagex! WOM wants to become a god, too! It all makes sense! Providing he can make it, of course. *Hastily washes bloody scimitar* P.S. I'm guessing we're going for the same time as last week? I haven't seen the updated TET page yet, soo...see you there! Yes, 'tis the same time. I'll hopefully see you there- well, I should, there's not anything I'm going to be doing tonight. I posted that on my forums. Just wanted to be part of the numerology combination lol Let me just say that your knowledge would make my history teacher look stupid. Anyway, that thing about the number three is rather interesting, but also a bit scary- it's almost as if Jagex intended that there be four of us at the first meeting. If I leave and go to the Wise Old Man and Zaros, there will be three on both sides. Since three is apparently sacred, both sides will have an equal advantage. KingWenlok
Great, my Internet decided to die at the worst possible moment- sorry KCHughes. Anyway, basically we found out what two of the symbols on the Falador Stones stood for. In the smoke dungeon, where you obtain the smoke diamond, viewing it in High Detail will cause swirls to appear, the exact same as the ones on the swirl stone. Because we made the connection that the smoke diamond equals pestilence, we conclude that the rock holds the symbol of a Pestilence Rune. Now as for the one with waves. The ice diamond involves a troll which needs to be fed something. Because we worked out the other three stones already, the ice diamond is very likely to be famine. Unsurprisingly, the mountain which the troll lives on is cold, and of course if we look at cold weather, we find blizzards. The waves look very similar to an artists impression of a blizzard, so we also concluded that the wave rock was a Famine Rune. The other two we are not 100% sure about. Trobigod suggested that the sun rock may be a War Rune, due to the sun being linked with the 'dawn of war' etc. So that would leave the eye/freemason rock as a Death Rune. Of course, that would be confusing, unless there can be two different types of Death Runes. However, there isn't much evidence located in-game that provides support for these statements, but it seems the most likely conclusion. We made a fair bit of progress- once again thanks to Trobigod for the information! Unfortunately the meeting ended a tad early and few came, though I'm sure everyone had their reasons. :) Hope you lot can make it next week! Oh yeah, and Trobigod is going to try using Ancient Magicks on the stones to see if anything happens. We'll wait 'till the next meeting to see if something was revealed... And about the meeting world- I know it makes sense to use the Tip.It homeworld, but the lag was killing us. Looking at the TET event thread, some of them have been experiencing problems too. If this happens next meeting, we may have to change to a different world to host the meetings. Lag does not make anyone happy. P.S. I was writing this purely from memory, so I might have missed something. Add to it if you wish.
