August 22, 201114 yr It depends on how you slay. If you slay with just armour, weapon, boost pots and maybe antifire potions at times, then yeah, slayer is really really boring just like any other combat. But slayer lets you kill some monsters that wouldn't otherwise be worth killing such as hellhounds, suqah, abberant spectres etcetera. The 1/6th melee offence boost also means you will kill stuff a lot faster, which leads to being able to use new strategies sometimes (mainly related to tanking with soul split). I've had multiple different times where I got the same task a few times in a row. Also, sorry SpecialOne, but fun is subjective. No one can tell you if it will be fun for you, only you can decide what is fun to you. They can only tell you what they find to be fun. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving.
