RS_Qet
Hi all, I have around 30-40m spent on herbs + secondaries that I've got purely for merching purposes. I go away for 4 days (coming back on monday) tomorrow, so I was wondering if I should sell my herbs tonight/early tomorrow, perhaps leaving them in the ge for the next 4 days or wait until I come back (which assumes they'll rise over the next four days). I'd rather not take any risks, so I'm leaning towards selling them tonight/leaving them in the ge. I have 97m if I pc my bank and I'm looking for around 105m so I can buy turmoil over the next week - don't want to mess up and sell for less than I bought. Thankyou for any help. I realise this is a topic with no definate answer but any advice would be appreciated.Qet

Jeff Delu
It already has been announced. It's going to be September 9-12. It was pretty much fine print in the "save 15% on membership" post. They also mentioned some other cool stuff in there. 2496 total achieved June 30, 2013
Tooneb
The best time to sell would be AFTER they ACTUALLY announced a BXPW Which they recently did in a sneaky way. See the post "Save 15%..." on the runescape homepage.

Powerfrog
I think you should just put them in the GE for your expected price now. If the demand doesn't rise yet, no worries, if it does, you get your expected money and make a nice profit.

BXPW isn't for another two weeks yet, so you'll have at least a week after your return to go sell your stuff. :shades:

brad1431
I still find it funny that people wait for bxpw to be announced to buy their supplies, when the pattern is every early March and September they have one. I have been saving my high level mtk herbs since last bwpx, and buying the secondaries in bunches along the way. The only thing that I didnt buy were all of my summoning seconds, although I did put in an offer last night on a few of them, let's hope it took. I am sitting on 6,700 snapdragon weeds, and another 100 seeds. so I should be able to sell my over 7,000 snaps and buy turmoil. I hope it is as good as everyone says it is..... The Observer
It's probably better to sell before it actually starts being released (like a day or two before). Don't forget it takes time for everything to rise.

I'd like to point out any more who invests in prayer specifically for the bxpw is foolish; but if prices crash may as well grab for after the weekend as a money saver.Though I doubt any crash will last dumb people who do the above will make the rise like made same as herbs etc. Afterall during weekend all bonuses turn off means even at the max 2.7 multiplier prayer gives less than standard gilded or ecto Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

If many people would do this (which isn't too weird) it might create the crash. I hope it is as good as everyone says it is.....Just so you know: a lot of people have been stocking up. This is the reason why a lot of the supplies aren't going up as much as people hoped. This coupled with bots keeping supplies low (but the poplular bonus xp ones, that were kept artificially high in anticipation of the bxw), will probably cause prices not to rise that much at all. RS_Qet
Thanks everyone, I'm just gonna sit tight and leave the offers in. I'm buying the supplies for turmoil before the weekend because they'll fall a bit - obviously I'm not planning on training during the weekend. EDIT: HUGE thankyou to whoever mentioned MTK. I haven't collected for 2 months! :D
