nattylite4me
Well I finally got my yak yesterday after 6 months of hoarding and I was wondering what are some of the uses for it. I know all the obvious uses of course, (bossing, dragons/demons, etc.), but what are some of the other uses a yak has when skilling and doing other general runescape things. Thanks in advance. Quyneax
It can be used to hold resources. When selecting make-x, the game counts the resources in your inventory and will go on smithing until you've finished those as well. You still have to manually withdraw though. This works for:Torstol used in overloads. Because you can load up torstol for 6 inventories at the time this is quite nice.Bars used in smithing of any kind, mostly plates.Crafting; dragonhides. This is a bank skill so it doesn't help very much.Fletching, stringing bows, same as crafting.Altaring bones. Siobhana
You can also use it to bank phoenix feathers. It will not hold them for you (as they're untradeable) but will send to bank. I tested it once, but can't remember how many I managed to send before my inv was full, but if you abhor the teleing/running back as much as me, it helps a little bit. Ty Jeppoz for making it. Thx to the Pup for finding it after it got lost :D And thx to Kill_Life and Turtle for the ava. Stoltenberg, 22/7-11: "We will retaliate with more democracy" In remembrance of Oslo/Utøya. Quyneax
It's around 2k gp per feather banking with summoning pots. It still takes around 5 seconds per feather as well. HexiledRazz
Being awesome. That's the best use :D But on a more serous note, go through your daily scaping' routine. Having a yak is essentially having the ability to bank any item you want, and also an extra 30 invi spaces to work with. It can be useful for almost anything and everything. Someone in my clan mentioned how he almost always has his summoned since he got it since it's so useful ;) Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005. LitterBug
Another option is to bring something like broad arrows to fletch and just banking when you have enoughHowever, this is slow (for gathering feathers) and you need to cast humidify/bring an enchanted tiaraGreat if you have fletching to level & herblore to level

I mean looking from a yackless perspective, pack yak is game breaking. Camping a monster and don't want to bank? Send to bank! 28 inventory spaces not enough? How about MORE THAN DOUBLE?
